Why is the Be Our Guest song so popular?

I've heard mostly praising opinions on it all these decades but personally I've always found the song boring and skipped the scene. It's apparently so Популярное that they even had to make an easter egg out of it in the 2019 Lion King remake. (Which I found just dumb because it has nothing to do with the Lion King universe whatsoever.)

Sure the Анимация in the scene is wonderful, but why is the song so loved?
