2) If someone offends you, don’t blow up. Respond in a polite, mature way, point out what offended Ты and why Ты find it offensive. If it’s something serious или happens to be one of the things forbidden in Rule 5, chances are people will back Ты up and the problem will work out. If it isn’t, reread Rule 1.
3) Twi-hards, this isn’t a place to drool over Edward или gush about how amazing the Twilight Книги are. It’s fine if Ты like doing that and we hold nothing against you, but please don’t do it here. Take it to a еще appropriate spot and keep it there.
4) Twi-haters, this isn’t a hater или anti spot. Don’t abuse it. Do not make personal attacks against Stephenie Meyer или her fans, and don’t throw nasty или immature insults at Twilight. This is supposed to be “Critical Analysis of Twilight”, not “Mindless Bashing of Twilight”.
5) Make sure the material Ты Отправить stays true to the spirit of this spot. Whether it’s a soapbox, image, video, etc...please make sure it doesn’t have excessive language, scathingly cruel humor или any other offensive content in it (like "sparkly Вампиры are faggots", "Stephenie Meyer is a [bleep]", "Twitards are mindless scum blah blah blah"...etc). When it comes to videos, no book burning или other forms of Twilight carnage. If Ты found a really good/funny video that happens to have something like that in it, don’t post it. Instead, just ask around and PM Ссылки to the people who want to see it. (If enough people say they want to see it, perhaps we could start a special Форум thread with a warning или something. But for now, let's not go there.)
NEW RULE:
6) If Ты look at the forum, you’ll see there are two rant threads: one for Twilighters and one for anti-Twilighters. If Ты want to vent your rage или feel like you’ll explode if Ты don’t get it out of your system, take it there and keep it there. Please use them wisely, put up a warning for each rant Ты make so people will know what they’re getting into, and don’t ever stoop down to bad language или personal attacks.
NOTE: These are the only two threads for that kind of stuff. Everywhere else is a “safe zone”. If Ты go to either of the rant threads, be prepared. DO NOT venture in if Ты can’t take the heat. The warnings are there for a reason. If the rants make Ты mad, please don’t respond. Either PM the ranter или vent it out in the appropriate thread (and if Ты do the latter, don’t call out names или point fingers at anyone). That way we can keep the carnage to a minimum.
And these are all the ones I can think of at the moment. If any of Ты have any suggestions или ideas on how to improve them, please talk! These rules and guidelines are to ensure that we keep the peace, prevent abuse of the spot and help everyone to enjoy their stay. The last thing we want to do is give Fanpop a reason for taking us down.
