So far, Damon's concept of Любовь is always been that of 'a quest' where he had to work in order to win against an opponent.

He fell in Любовь with Katherine when he already knew that Stefan had serious feelings for her, even if he was reluctant to act on them. We can assume he started flirting with her and competing with Stefan as a game, and it later turned in something еще intense because Katherine was so different from any other woman he had met and he felt stifled by the life he had.

Damon asked Emily to protect Katherine at any cost, after the founding families took Katherine, right? Then Stefan and Damon tried to save Katherine, but died in the process. I wanted to write this because it has been something that I have been thinking about for a while.
Now, first let me start by saying that, if we absolutely could not get a Bamon endgame on the show, there are a couple of other relationships that I would accept. Those two couples are Bonnie/Jeremy and Damon/Katherine.I do not think either of those couples will get endgame, though, especially because I believe that both Katherine and Jeremy will end up dying eventually. There are also other reasons I think that they won't work.
Obviously Jeremy's dead girlfriends will be a hurdle in his relationship...

Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, Tyler, Matt!!! Just names of people at first glance, but at a секунда Ты start to realize that all of these people have something in common! Not only are they characters we absolutely LOVE, but they are all SECONDARY characters!! Unfortunately!! At least for now! That can change! Look at Joseph морган aka Klaus if Ты don't believe me!

But for now they're all secondary characters!! Yes, our beloved Bonnie is secondary, it PAINS me to say!! :( But it's not all bad!! We have SO much to be thankful for when it comes to our feisty witch!! I feel like lately all we can...
