I have loved Delena since the very first episode of TVD. They had amazing chemistry, and I was really excited for this ship. But now, about nine months later, I have gotten to the point where I do not want to ship DE. Why? Because of the fangirls.

No one should ever have to stop shipping a couple because of a Фан base, but some of Ты have made tons of my Друзья quit the TVD spot. Because apparently if your opinion isn't pro-Delena, it doesn't count.

A small-portion of DE Фаны have made it impossible for the rest of us to be proud of shipping them. They spam, troll, and are just plain rude. I am disgusted by that small portions behavior.

I understand that DB Фаны have done some things that way are out of line (no one should be called racist for not shipping a couple), but so have you. Ты ruin all their spots. Spots that aren't for you!!!!

Disgusted by this behavior, I once прокомментировал(-а) "I am embarrassed to be a DE fan." (something that is still true, by the way), and a couple of DE crazies decided to stalk my activity because I am such a horrible person. I'm not sure what they were hoping to find (that I was a DB Фан in disguise?), but they ended up getting to my Избранное place on Fanpop, a PR thread for about fifteen girls who are really close. A thread that has absolutely nothing to do with Delena. One of them came on to HJFG and started tearing us apart. Calling us awful people, saying we were just jealous of DE's chemistry (over half of us are DE fans), and just being ridiculously rude.

I really don't want to point a finger at any of you. I know that there are some Delena Фаны that are very pleasant and sweet, but every single one of us looks like we have mental problems to the rest of FP. So please, small portion of you, cut it out. I'm begging you.

delenasalvatore Please PLEASE do not abandon the DE ship because of a small number of people. Don't let them ruin your enjoyment of DE and the show (and use of fanpop) because of their stalkerish, immature and insecure behaviour. They're not worth it. If they continue to make you miserable, report them. If you quit, then you will have let them get to you, and put them in control, and made them more important than they have a right to be. I can understand why you feel like abandoning ship, but don't tar all DE fans with the same feather - we're nice, we really are. On behalf of all those fans, please don't leave us!!!

epicdelena4ever people have there own opinions but u shouldn't quit the de fanbase cause of what ONE person said.

laurik2007 some fans can do that and that's no excuse...i'm sorry you feel this way and hope that maybe with season 2 you will be yet again amazed by the D/E relationship....please don't give up

shankii If you want to quit it's your decision, I'm not asking you to stay, when I like something I don't care what other people think about them or how they act but I guess that's just me ;) And I think when you ship a couple you should feel proud and if that's not what you feel about Delena then I agree with you, you just think about it ;)

MissDK Hello :) I am with you in what you said about a small portion of DE fans. But when you have a great ship like DE, and their fanbase is getting so BIG, and so HUGE, and so many people ship them, the risk of having young and immature people shipping them is bigger, so you have to expect that a part of the DE fandom will be like this. You cant control a fanbase like DE because like I said, it's huge, and some of the shippers are young and a little crazy sometimes. I get what you say about being annoyed and sometimes totally angry with people who did these things to you and your friends, but I think you should try to ignore them and just enjoy the show and the ship with the sane shippers. I do that always. I try to ignore immature DE fans because they bother me JUST as much as some DB and SE fans do. So in stead of quitting the fanbase or the ship, I think we should stick together and try to spread the mature spirit of shipping DE within the Delena fanbase, to make it better, so maybe everyone can enjoy it without having to feel ashamed by it. Wiwiii Well that's what they were aiming for I guess. The small portion of DE fans will eventually fade away, that's how it's supposed to be, like the Twilight thing, at first everybody loved Edward and then they liked Jacob better, then they gave up on twilight, because TVD was the new thing. They will go away once something new comes up, or when Ian will have a new hair-cut, or something stupid that goes in that direction. Basically quitting over this, is a little over-dramatic, if you really ship DE you shouldn't care, they called us racist, crazy, immature, but who cares, as long as we have amazing DE scenes coming up. I admit that lately i was Shocked by one of the discussions in a Bamon spot, since they were saying bad things not about DE, but about us shippers, I had to intrude and say something, since i got there by pure coincidence. It was just not fair, they were quoting us, and calling us immature and other crazy things, that only qualify the small portion. But after I said how I felt and read some of their answers, I just felt like trolling and actually behaving like a crazy small portion DE fan, so I erased my post. So overall you shouldn't quit, that would be just stupid. You ship what You like, and scr*w the haters. You don't have to be ashamed of anything. They're jealous because we're awesome, and we rock. Basically, let's just watch the show and stop arguing about silly stuff. :)

Fireminess I'm pretty sure most of the popular ships have rude fans too, but don't let that ruin it for you. No one, especially some girls from net can tell you what to like or what to say.

Marirocks12 Well, before saying that, you should look to what you have done. I saw that pick at the HJF spot and you should be ashamed of yourself for doing something like that,putting a conversation in public.The only rude person here is you. And if you really loved DE, you wouldn't be caring to anything that the fans did or said. So, you just waited for some ridiculous cause to appear so you could stop shipping it. Now, where are you going? To ship Bamon? The ones who created a spot just to bash DE and to call us fans trolls? Oh, ok. Then go.
