So I was recently inspired by fellow Fanpop members that would write their own version of Damon and Elena. It might seem similar but it really isn't. It's been a miserable experience waiting for a delena moment and nothing happened, so I decided to write what I really wanted. Here it is.
Damon: I need to tell Ты something.
Elena: I don’t have time for this Damon. I have to… (Searches for Stefan around her)
Damon: Fine. Go.
(Elena looks back at him, then around her)
Elena: What is it?
Damon: No, seriously. This isn’t something I can just fit in your schedule, Elena.
Elena: Damon, what is it? Tell me.
Damon: No. Just go look for your boyfriend. It wasn’t important, really Elena.
Elena: Damon… We’ll get back to this, alright?
Damon: *whispers* alright…
Elena: So Ты wanted to speak to me?
Damon: Yeah, but its okay… just go.
(Elena goes up to Damon and tries to look him in the eyes)\
Elena: Damon… what’s wrong?
Damon: I’m leaving.
Elena: WHAT?
Damon: I’m leaving Elena.
Elena: Why?
Damon: Because… because I can’t be here with… I just can’t. I won’t. I will wander the Earth just as I have for a century. Nothing’s changed.
Elena: But Damon…. Why now? You’ve built this life in Mystic Falls. Why leave now?
Damon: I just can’t… uhh… I have to go.
Elena: Go… wait, no.
(Elena grabs his arm, staring him right in the eye)
Elena: Don’t um… Don’t go. I mean there really is no point. To leave I mean
Damon: Yes there is. Ты just don’t see it. How could I expect you… such a pure soul.. Never could Любовь me. (shakes his head)
Elena: Damon, Damon, slow down. Just talk to me. Tell me why now.
Damon: Well don’t Ты see? I’m giving up.
Elena: Giving up, on what?
Damon: On you. I can’t… I can’t be here when you’re with him. It hurts me. I’ve been slowly becoming еще human… and not even the good parts. I feel pain. And it sucks. So I’m leaving. Maybe if I leave for a bit… it’ll stop.
Elena: What will?
Damon: These feelings. These feelings… they haunt me in my sleep. Ты haunt me… I should have realized. He’s so much better for you. And I’m the monster. And I understand that now. So now, I’m going to be a monster somewhere else. Maybe Florida… или Russia… So many places to go. Just one place to avoid. Tell dear Stefan goodbye for me, will you?
Elena: I… don’t go!
Damon: I will not be human. I can’t. I can’t be what Ты want. Stefan can. He tries and he can. I CAN’T. I’m a monster. Always have been.

Elena: You’re a coward. You’re running from your feelings. Ты can’t deal with them and you’re leaving.
Damon: They’ll still be there when I leave. They’ll just be more… manageable if I’m not with you.
Elena: And why in the world is that?
Damon: Because Ты caused them.
Elena: Come on, Damon. You’ve always had feelings. I couldn’t have caused Ты to feel. They were always there.
Damon: But they were manageable! I could ignore them. I could see the world with the eyes of a predator. But then I met you.
Elena: And?
Damon: Ты changed me. Ты made me human… I’ve been a predator for so long, and yet, when I met you, all of those years just… evaporated. Suddenly, I was back in 1864. Human and young, I fell for Katherine, just as I have fallen for you. Yet this time seems to be worse.
Elena: Worse?
Damon: Yes. It’s worse because I ran from my Любовь when I became a vampire. I shut off it all, like the flip of a switch. My feelings, my love, even myself fell to the switch. And in my own way, I was living in I ignorance and bliss. But then Ты came along. And somehow, Ты flipped that stupid switch back. So here we are. I’m running again. It hurts too much to see Ты with him. I know he deserves you. I can’t be selfish… and the only way to prevent that is to just leave.
Elena: Please… don’t.
Damon: I have to. I’ll miss you. Hell, I might even miss this crazy town. But I won’t miss these feelings.
Elena: So Ты just think that when Ты leave, they’ll all just, disappear? That’s a little ignorant of you, don’t Ты think?
Damon: It doesn’t even matter. I just, I can’t see Ты every день and know that you’ll never be mine. Nor will I live in self-pity.
Elena: Ты make it sound like I have everything figured out.
Damon: Well, don’t you?
Elena: I don’t know Damon. I thought I did.
Damon: What happened?
Elena: I don’t know, I don’t know. But Ты can’t just expect me to make a decision like this. I Любовь Stefan I Любовь Stefan….. I love.. I.. I..
Damon: I have to go Elena.
Elena: No Ты don’t. Ты can’t leave. I haven’t had a chance to… if Ты leave, we’ll never have known.
Damon: Known what?
Elena: Who I would have chosen.
Damon: BUT Ты ALREADY HAVE!
Elena: I don’t know… ugh I don’t know. (Curls in a ball and hugs knees)
Damon: I have an idea.
Elena: Okay…
Damon: No interruptions okay? Just, hear me out.
Elena. Fine
Damon: I will make a deal with you. Let me Kiss you. Once. And if Ты feel nothing, then I’ll go. We won’t have “never known” because there will be proof right there. But if Ты feel something, anything that might hint to the fact that Ты and Stefan may not be meant to be, then I’ll stay. I’ll stay and let Ты figure things out. I’ll stay until Ты have chosen. And then after that, we’ll see.
Elena: I don’t really see the benefits of this…
Damon: Well, it’s the only way I’m going to stay. Take it или leave it.
Elena: That’s cold.
Damon: And Ты aren’t?

Damon: Hey, Ты know, I think I’m just going to leave since it was a stupid…
(Elena interrupts him) Elena: Fine
Damon: What?
Elena: Fine. But Ты have to also agree to some things first.
Damon: Okay. Like what?
Elena: Like if Ты feel nothing, Ты have to stay. You’ll stop coming after me, and we’ll forget it ever happened.
Damon: But I don’t see what the point..
Elena: Just agree to it.
Damon: Agreed.
Elena: Stefan will never know?
Damon: Never.
Elena: Your word?
Damon: Ты have my word Elena.
Elena: We should probably go some where else. We’ve been standing here, like idiots, in the middle of the Mystic Grill, talking.
Damon: My place?
Elena: Yeah but where is Stefan?
Damon: He didn’t tell you?
Elena: No, he didn’t.
Damon: He went to find еще information at Harvard. He’ll be back tomorrow.
Elena: Why wouldn’t he tell me?
Damon: I don’t know Elena.
Elena: I’ll have to talk to him… have Ты talked to him since he left?
Damon: No, I haven’t. He left his phone at our house.
Elena: He did what?!
Damon: I’m sure he’s fine Elena. He probably didn’t want to worry you.
Elena: He still should have told me.
Damon: I agree.
Elena: Ты do?
Damon: Yes, I do. I have a lot of faith in you.

Elena: I’ll be at your house in two hours.
Damon: Agreed.
(Elena is now at her house. She just took a душ and is combing out her wet hair)
Elena: Why are Ты doing this Elena? It only hurts him… but I have to know. I have to know…. And this will help. It’ll solve everything. I’ll feel nothing and then Stefan and I will live happily ever after. The end…. I think.
(Elena enters the Salvatore house hesitantly. She looks around, and then finally wanders into Damon’s room)
Damon: Ты came.
(Startled, Elena turns around to see a hovering Damon right behind her)
Elena: Yeah, I did.
Damon: I’m surprised.
Elena: Ты know people ARE able to surprise you.
Damon: Yes… but not usually. Ты seem to be an exception to it though. Ты always surprise me.
Elena: So can we just get this over with?
(Elena looks at the Стена behind her for a sec, then looks back at him)
Elena: Ты know, this is kind of awkward so I’m just gonna..
(Damon kisses her, interrupting her sentence. At first, she resists out of sheer instinct, backing up against the wall. Damon, trying to soothe her stroked her arms and they stayed like that, till Damon finally pulled away)
Damon: I need to tell Ты something.
Elena: I don’t have time for this Damon. I have to… (Searches for Stefan around her)
