Hi. I'm doing a discursive essay on the most controversial issue possible, but I can't pick. Any ideas? (controversial: things like abortion, gay rights, the intakes of profits of petrol companies etc.)

I second Israel/Palestine because it's by far the most polar. Seriously, you get a Pro-Israeli and a Pro-Palestinian and lock them in a room together, when you come back you won't find anything left.

ALSO: Anything to do with sex.

I'm leaning towards the sex issues, they're always good for a good mark out of sheer audacity.
