{James' POV}

As I head out, I see a giant, dock filled with Болталка people that I have never seen in my entire lifetime! Are they visitors? Did they come just to take over? Don't ask me, I'm just a stay-in-the-palace-at-all-times Prince. "'Ey! Get out of the way Ты bastard!" Some fat, ugly ogre with three eyes pushes me and I fall to the ground. Face first. "You know," I start as I get up from the wooden floor. "You could say excuse me!" The ogre stops in his steps and turns around. His three eyes give me a hard, deadly stare that looks like it could melt my insides. I take a big hard gulp of saliva. Just in case he tries to beat me up. Hey, just because I'm seventeen, doesn't mean I can't be...scared. "What did Ты say?" he says coldly. Ogre-dude gets bigger as he comes closer to me and to give Ты an FYI, he's WAY bigger than me. Now's the time to be scared. "I-I, Ты should really be more...polite." I try to say, swallowing my words with my saliva. Though, my sentence sounds еще like a Вопрос than a suggestion.

"WHY YOU!" Ogre-dude picks me up by grabbing my dull-colored T-shirt and with his other hand, he makes a fist like he's about to hit me. I pull my face back but it might not help so much. "Hey!" I hear a female voice call. Does the ogre-dude know this girl? She comes closer, crossing her arms over her chest with a scowl on her face. "Pick on someone your own size, или Ты fight me." WHAT IS SHE NUTS?! Ogre-dude puts me down and walks away. Was he really threatened by someone who I could beat up?? Вопросы that need to be answered are the hardest ones to get. The ebony haired girl sets her hands on me like she's trying to help me get cleaned up. "You okay?" she asks. Did I get a black eye? Are my insides outside? No I didn't think so. That means I'm fine. "Just peachy." I adjust my fabric ремень, пояс, пояса a bit. "Did Ты know that guy?" I ask surprisingly. "Um, a thank you would answer the question." Oh. Yeah. "Right. Thanks." I sheepishly say. "No problem. And no, I don't know that guy." Then how? I sigh. Still confused about why this girl helped me. "I'm James." I don't bother saying that I'm a Prince. That would just make her be like: Oh my gosh! Can I have your autograph?! Not going there in a million years. Thank Ты very much. "Nice to meet you. I'm Melonie." Melonie? Where have I heard that name before? Eh. Who cares? It's a pretty common name. Kinda like James. Look here, Melonie's pretty tough. For a teenage girl in a night blue sundress. "You too." We shake hands. "Soo..." I try to start a conversation as we walk along the dock surrounded by all kinds of species. "Why did Ты save me?" I ask. Melonie shrugs. "I don't know. I do that to a lot of people. Besides, Ты were going to be crumbled into a million pieces anyway." I roll my eyes. Though, she might be right. As a kid, my dad taught me to defend myself but I decided to skip it. Boy do I regret it now.
