CAN WE STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE ABOUT THE NEW LAYOUT?!?!

I agree to an extent.

I feel a little sorry for the F4 and everyone involved in changing Fanpop because people are outraged almost every single time Fanpop Обновления in the slightest, but I feel less sypathetic this time around. The guys did something seemingly foolish by taking away the screencaps without giving a good explanation. The explanation дана just seemed like a quick thing to get people off their backs. Then kept everyone in the dark, despite the numerous questions.

I don't think the changes in itself is that bad. I mean, the banners bug me a bit, but we can adjust. While there are a few spots that look ridiculous right now (Critical analysis of Twilight, Sex & Sexuality, V.C. Andrews, all the spots with really long names) but there are also some that look great with this update (Once Upon a Time, Emma Watson, Skillet (that one worked out like a gem))

There's still room for improvment, and Fanpop almost always makes improvments on the Обновления after they get an initial response. I remember when the Стена was unbelievably huge and when the pop out was not customizable. We're not quite doomed yet.


All in all, I don't mind the changes, but I'm not a Фан of how they came about.

Anyone who complains about this new layout deserves severe blunt trauma to the head. So far, there's nothing wrong with this new layout, so there's no need to complain.

They need to I really don't think crying over, how much Ты dislike the layout is gonna change anything.

Its a bit disrespectful, and I don't give a damn if it just y'all opinions; most opinions about something needs to be left out unsaid.
And plus it was time for an update. *shrugs*

No the only time I will stop is once they give owners of spots the option to take away the name of the spot on the banner and no еще extra black on the banners if we have the right to create banners & spots we should also have the right to choose to have или not have these options.

While constructive criticism would be helpful for the new layout to help improve it overtime, repetitive complaints with little thought put into it are useless and should be treated as such.

I find the current layout ok, I can still do what I did on the old layout so I have no reason to complain.

Just logged onto Fanpop for the first time today and must say I was a bit shocked and confused to start with but hey, it's just change and for the better imo. It's like the new Facebook and the new twitter, no one liked it to begin with but had to just get used to it and get on with it. I for one like it anyway. Spruces the place up actually :o)

People are entitled to their opinions on things. They have every right to complain about how they don't like this new layout here. It's just annoying sometimes how many people complain about those things.
Believe me, I'm really annoyed by all the whining, but I can't stop them from complaining. I've just got to Переместить on with life. Besides, the complaining will hardly be around after a week или two.

Tough; you'll just have to put up with us expressing our opinions. Look at the banners. Just... Look at them. Anything else, I can probably get used to and live with, but the banners... No. It's pointless and ugly. Fanpop have no right to mess with people's artwork, like that. It really pisses me off. I hardly ever even say bugger on here - that's how much it's annoying me.

I actually like it...In my opinion, every time a website updates, people are going to spend a few weeks complaining about how horrible it is, how it was so stupid to change, how they're going to leave the site if it doesn't get resolved, etc. Even if the change is for the better, people just hate change and like things the way they were. But after a few weeks, everyone will just forget about it. Change is inevitable, and I personally like this new layout. My one complaint is that they took out the little blurb on your Профиль that says your Избранное movie, tv show, etc. I liked that, but maybe they're gonna put something else in. A customizable about me blurb would be nice..
So I'd say, people are gonna complain any time there's a change, and there's nothing we can do about the complainers. But it'll die down though, so I just wait it out. :)

Yes, I agree. People r being over reacting about the new layout. They just don't like it becoz it's not familiar 2 them. It's totally fine, just need 2 add some of the old stuff and we're good ^_^

Let the users be mad and get over it, I'm pissed as well because they took off the Слоган of each club and ruined the banners, plus whoever came up with blue for the layout has a bad taste in colors.

okay i'm geting use to it by now Ты seem to make a point on how things are going on it's like physical change in life like when a baby says his/hers words, like moving into different classes when Ты pass a grade in school ,the changes of the human body so yeah we can't stay negative all the time i mean if they don't like then they don't like pretty much not all of us have to like the same thing we're different people from different places we just gotta stick with it no matter what so Ты can't go blaming on Fanpop it's a website not a human being if Fanpop change let it change there's nothing we could do about it otherwise if еще things comes into a change don't crtisize just get along with it no matter how annoying it is.

Ok, I like the new layout, but the only problems I have with it is...

1) The banners. The black bit on the left and bottom. What was the point?
2) The spot name. It's on the banner. Why?!
3) The "interests" on user profiles are gone
4) They changed "Picks" to "Polls"! "Picks" made Fanpop unique.
5) The club Поиск is gone




Oh, and the only reason I сказал(-а) "No." was because Ты WERE USING CAPSLOCKS; AND EXCLAMATION AND Вопрос MARKS!!!
