VampiresRevenge Love section: Even if Rosalie's love for Renesmee may have started out as a selfish thing because she herself could never have a child doesn't mean that it wouldn't grow into the real thing. And the Cullens welcome Bella like part of the family because Edward cares about her, not because of how dangerous he would be without her, which doesn't make sense at all since all of them were the "good" vampire sort in the first place. I don't understand your point about Bella getting mad over the nickname and tying it to how she doesn't care about Renesmee. Maybe the reason she got so mad over the nickname was because of her love of Renesmee and not wanting to associate her with the loch-ness monster. You bring Remus and Tonks up and how Tonks never cared about Remus' condition. Um, neither did Bella when she found out Edward was a vampire. If that was your standard for love as it was for Remus and Tonks, then that means that Bella and Edward love each other too. You point out the good things in the Harry Potter relationships to show how much they love each other. You didn't mention that Ron and James treated Hermione and Lily like douches when they first met them. The feminism section: Bella cleaned and cooked for Charlie because she wanted to. Never did it ever imply that she was forced and subjected to by society. THAT would be anti-feminism, not Bella voluntarily choosing to do what she wanted with her life. The reason that Bella slipped into a state of depression after Edward left was not because she needed a man specifically to live, but because she was falling in love with him when he immediately left her. Bella gets pregnant when she's 19, barely a teenager. She's out of high school by then AND she's married. Stephen King's biased quote has nothing to do with the validity of either series. Plot: Who said that everything in Twilight didn't have a purpose either? James and his crew were thrown in to show just how much danger Bella was facing as a human to be with Edward, and to drive her closer to him when she saw that she could mentally handle being with a vampire. Renesmee's purpose was to develop a family for Edward and Bella so the readers could know that their family would last after the last book. Dream part: Stephanie wrote a book series about dreams. I doubt that she seriously still longs to be in that dream and "forget[s] to live." She's making money off of it, not continually wishing that it was true.

bri-marie How does she "think like a child"? She took care of herself [i]and both[/i] her parents (as I pointed out). That's not something a child, or someone with the mentality of a child, does.

Helena-B-Carter No, she may well be mature for her age, we'll never know, but she is a child. Not in the strictest sense of the word, but some adults ill still call her a child. A child can only become an adult, in my opinion, if she experiences life fully. And bella still has much to experience. In reality, a young woman like her can't possibly teach a child when she's a child

bri-marie Some adults will still call her a "child" because she's younger than them. I'm 21, and get called "child" and "young 'un" all the time. It's because I'm younger, not because I'm actually a child. What does Bella have to experience? She knows how to take care of herself and others. She's had jobs, been to school, been to far away places. She knows things about the world that most humans don't. And, she also has Edward and his entire family (who are all over a hundred years old). She has Jacob, and his family. She has Charlie. She has plenty of good parental people around her to help her raise a child. She knows the meaning of love, sacrifice, family, bravery, and honesty. Seems like a pretty good start to being a parent to me.
