Dear Twilight fans,

I was Ты one day. Addicted to Twilight and couldnt ever stop Чтение it even if i had already read it 4 times. But trust me on this one will you. READ ANOTHER BOOOK!!! AFTER Ты DO THAT TWILIGHT WILL SEEM LIKE A STUPID ROMANCE STORY.

After I had read Twilight saga about 8 times i read Harry Potter.

And all i can say is whoa!!

1. harry potter has a plot line that has never been used before.
2. twilight was a very easy read. simple sentences. i could write it
3. harry potter uses some imagination.
4. if edward wasnt sexy, everyone would be creeped out by him
5. harry potter>twilight

HARRY POTTER;
The most well thought out Книги Ты could ever read. There are SEVEN and each one is just as good as the one before. They go together perfectly. J.K. Rowling is a women that has a huge imagination and is tremendously creative. Okay Just Think About It. She wrote Harry Potter without any help. And everythingis made up. Try Письмо a story like that. How many copies would Ты sell? 100? 1000? Well she sold 11 million copies the first день the last book came out? Could an average person do that? I dont think so.

Wow. I'm pretty sure it's mostly smitten teenage girls who think Twilight is better. The Письмо is low grade, the plot is simple and Bella as the main character doesn't compare to Harry as a main character. She's so flippin supid. And the way it ended, omg, not even a fight. Anyways, Ты can't compare four Книги about a sappy weak teenager in Любовь with a vampire to a 7 novel masterpiece with growing plots and characters. Harry Potter has so much еще depth. And it appeals to males and females alike.

Bookaholics I don't mean to be rude, and I do agree with you, but some of this is rather inaccurate. Harry Potter has a plot that's never been used before? Actually, the basic plot is a relatively standard one for modern fantasy. I don't mean to say it's bad, it's a plot that gets used a lot because it's a good one, but it's not exactly original. Twilight only appeals to sappy teenage girls? That's quite an assumption. Yes, that's a large part of the fanbase, but there are adults who like Twilight, and some boys. And for the record, not ending with a fight is not nesecarily a bad thing. There are tons of good books that don't end with fights, even fantasy ones. And while it can work, ending with a fight is sometimes just a way out of writing a good ending. (The battle in HP was very good, though.) I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just some constructive criticism.

taisa I think i can relate to you(iloveyoudarling) in a way. I think if i had read twilight first, i would have love it and think nothing about harry potter. Sure after i read twilight i was like 'WHOA'..HOT!!..but even when i said those words Harry Potter was still number one in mind cos i read it first, and plus it was just the best series!! And even though i thought twilight was COOL i never touched it ever again. Dont know why! And that goes for the rest of the twilight saga! Bookaholics I actually agree with her opinion, but I think all articles should be critiqued based on the writing, not if you agree with them. Plus, I think HP fans are sometimes kind of unfair to Twilight.

So this club is Potter vs. Twilight, Rowling vs. Meyer, Wizards vs. Vampires. I, personally, my opinion, think that Twilight is better than Harry Potter. BUT I think that there are some redundant things in Twilight. And remember, these are ust my opinions:

-Bella's weakness; She's helpless, and turning girls everywhere into weak, spineless idiots. She's making girls everywhere think they need a guy like Edward to protect them.

Twilight Is Just Fanfic In Denial.

Well I've been Письмо a little fanfic recently and I realized that when I write fanfic, I mostly let my character's handle the plot. Whatever happens to pop in my head at the time, and doesn't go completely against the в общем и целом, общая story line, gets put in the fanfic.
