I doesn't really make any sense to me. If they're dead, they can't produce sperm. If they don't have blood they can't get an erection. If they can't produce sperm then they can't get humans pregnant. and IF their sperm has venom in it then wouldn't then wouldn't Edward's sperm kill one of Bella's eggs. Doesn't make sense to me at all :/

Guys don't need an erection to make babies.

Only the vampire's saliva venom is infectious. All the other bodily fluids are harmless.

I didn't comment on the development of sperm and semen because my take on that is strictly theoretic. THAT, you could have commented on, if i had actually made an argument.

HELLOOOOOOOO once your dead frozen in time your *ahem* can't make children! Cause your frozen! You "die" a virgin when becoming a vampire....you stay a virgin! Enough said.

I got a feeling that I have been trough discussion like this before...
well, technically you only need sperm and ovum to produce baby. (blood important in maintaining erection but i won't go there)
sperm can only last 24 hours outside living body (temperature and all that) and if I'm not mistaken they won't last long either in dead body.
my problem is, since edward technically 'dead' (or undead) even-tough his body is cold/frozen it's not to the ideal temperature to keep the sperm alive.
......
it might sound stupid to get too technical with fantasy book, anyway.
let's just called it 'vampire super sperm' and done with it.

It's just a book. A fictional book. Anything goes with fiction, but the idea was always still a little silly to me.
