A seemingly random question, but actually quite a reasonable one.

A while ago, a question was posted (I can't remember exactly what it said) that asked if there was a connection between twilight and America and vice-versa for HP. This got me wondering, is it possible that there may be a connection between political beliefs and preferences in culture. I intend to make more of these picks on other versus spots.

This IS a good question, but I'm Canadian, so I support the NDP and the Liberal parties :)

Have you noticed that no-one has picked Right-Wing?

I did notice, so I decided to look into it. Picks posted on the Fanpop fanspot seem to show that the majority of fanpoppers are teenagers. And, as we all know, teenagers are famous/infamous for their laidback, liberal attitude.

i don't understand it....

Basically, I'm wondering how much our political 'morals' influence our opinions on other things, like books. So, all you need to do is pick your favourite book and the political belief that best represnts you.

I tried not to sound patronising...

I might become a Republican when I'm 18, but I think with a lot of my personal beliefs I might be more in the middle than right-wing.

Interesting and thoughtful question. It seems that HP fans are mostly Democrats, and Twilight fans are mostly Rupublicans.

im a hp fan but i dont have political beliefs lol apart from thinking most politicians suck
