vampire will be considered dangerous universally,
but the wizards, somehow, will get the harshest reaction from some religious body/something similar.

I say both would be persecuted. Some would think witchcraft is evil and satanic and others would feel jealous of wizards magical powers like petunia was

Most witches/wizards don't seem to be completely evil. Vampires (minus the Cullens) kill humans to live.

I'm pretty sure religious groups that would be against wizards would be against vampires as well..
In addition to people who don't support constant killing.

There being a few evil wizards isn't much different from there being evil humans in the world, besides the fact that they have the potential to do more damage, if they choose to.

i think people would more want to gain the power of wizards and use it while vampires they would just want kill off because i mean no one wants vampires running around.

Most Vampires need to feed on humans. I do not think it would be possible for muggle/humans to live beside them without fearing for there lifes. All are lifes we are taught that vampires are evil.

Most religions groups will have a cow if they found out wizards were real. When HP first came out they burned the books and banned them. This is just what they did for fictional witchcraft. If they were real I belive things would not turn out good for them. Also if you remember Salem Witch Trials of 1692 people reacted to what they thought was magic there were burning at the stack I can not say that we would be about to handle it.

I feel like the fact that wizards are still human would make enough of a difference.

Wizards could atleast help people with all sorts of things, while vampires eat people ... and sparkle ?
