***Alice's POV***
"Jasper?" I asked softly. I waited a minute, waiting for him to answer me. "Jasper, please come back. I can't live without you, please come back to me." I sobbed.
"Alice." He said, the sorrow thick in his voice.
"Please?" I said, a sob escaping my throat. "I need to talk to you, to explain things."
"I...I need."
"You need to get back here, Ты need to hold me and tell me everything will be ok. Please Jazz, I need you." I said, interrupting him.
"Alice,"
"Please." I сказал(-а) as I shook, trying to contain my emotion. Bella leaned over and hugged me, pulling me into her arms as I curled up in her lap.
"Alice, I..." He сказал(-а) as I heard the wind blow by the phone. "I'll be there in a hour."

"As I Любовь you." He сказал(-а) softly then hung up.
I sat up and looked up at Bella, my entire face beaming. He did Любовь me, he did want me and he was willing to hear me out. My true Любовь was on his way back to me, to hear me out.
"Bella, please go call the others. I need to shower." I сказал(-а) as I hugged her and went to душ completely this time.
Chapter 20
***Jasper's POV***
It had only been a few hours since Alice woke, yet in those few hours my world had turned upside down. I was sitting on the rock ledge that looked out over an abyss of nothing, about 2 hours north of Forks. I had just hung up the phone, agreeing to go and talk to Alice, to hear her out.
As I thought about that the only thing I could think of was the look in her eyes when she woke up and spotted me. I expected to feel Любовь and joy...but was those emotions were replaced with anxiety, despair, loss, and confusion. I wanted nothing еще then to go and comfort her, but Edward stopped me, saying that Alice needed time.
Edward took me outside, telling me that I just needed to understand...understand what? That I had been suffering the last few days, unsure that my wife was going to live? Understand that Emmett had Rosalie back and everything seemed to be back to normal for them..but wouldn't be for Alice and I?
I stood up, kicking a rock in anger. I stood and watched the rock glide across the ravine, smashing into tiny particles as it smashed into the other wall. I picked another up and threw it across the opening, watching as it smashed into almost the exact spot. I shook my head, wondering what this was suppose to do to help me feel better? I looked at the clock on my phone and realized that I had to get going, I had promised her I would be there in an hour. I threw one еще rock, watching it smash into pieces as I took off running.
While running I thought of how Alice sounded while we talked, the sobs that had escaped between her words. I knew that she was hurt, that she was upset and needed me. She had сказал(-а) she loved me, the words still echoing around in my head. I hoped that she meant it, that she wasn't just saying it to get me back to the house.
I stopped myself in my spot, trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Why would I doubt that she loved me? Why would I doubt that she was tricking me? Was I that hurt...so hurt that I would doubt something that was so strong? I stopped and thought about Alice for one minute, to think of her face, the way she сказал(-а) my name, the way she held me, the way she kissed me. No, I could not doubt her..she was the one constant in my life and I had ran away from her. I was instantly running, faster then I thought possible..driving myself as fast as I could so that I could get to her.
I was sitting across the river from the house, watching as everyone went about their business. I saw Emmett carry things in and out of the house, Rosalie standing on the вверх steps barking orders at Emmett as she smiled. I wondered where Alice was, what everyone else was doing until Edward walked out of the woods and stood Далее to me.
"You came back."
"Yeah, she called. She asked to explain things to me, I couldn't just run." I сказал(-а) sadly.
"Jasper, she saw things she thought were real..things she would never have thought about on her own." Edward сказал(-а) as he looked at me, his eyes begging me for understanding.
"She didn't want me." I сказал(-а) bitterly as I glared at him.
"She was scared, she didn't know what was going on." He сказал(-а) as he stepped closer, his voice rising in anger.
"AND I DID!?" I yelled as I pushed at Edward's chest. "Everyone is thinking about how horrible this was for Rosalie and Alice...it was not enjoyable for Emmett and I."
"Jasper." Edward сказал(-а) as he picked the thoughts out of my head.
"I thought I Остаться в живых her, I thought my one true Любовь was gone. My reason to go on was gone..then she woke up, and didn't want me." I сказал(-а) sadly as I kicked a stump by my foot.
"Of course I want you, that has never and will never change." Alice's soft voice сказал(-а) as jumped over the small river, landing a few feet away from me.
"Alice," I said, wishing she hadn't heard the entire exchange that Edward and I just had.
"She did." Edward сказал(-а) as he walked up and put a hand on my shoulder. "Talk to her, be patient." He сказал(-а) as he walked by, jumping the river as if it weren't there and continued up to the house.
I looked down at my hands, wondering how to have this conversation. I didn't want to hurt her, I didn't want to be hurt, I just wanted my wife back.
