It's been forty-years since John Lennon was tragically taken from us in 1980. Even if Ты weren't born then (like me) that дата still affects us all. And recently a Rolling Stones Статья came out stating that John made people better. And when Ты think about it, he did.
While his Музыка is enjoyable, he made us think, about who we are as humans and our actions. Even as a solo artist he was never afraid to speak out not just what was wrong but also hope. Tbh, I think if he knew what was going on I think he would have hope that it would get better. I also think he would remind us that we're human and it's okay to be upset but also have compassion towards others. John Lennon also showed us the human side of celebrities. He was a husband and father, someone's, son, nephew and friend and let it be known that even if you're famous that Ты can't forget where Ты came from and to never get a big head. He used his celebrity status to spread the word of peace and Любовь all the way until his death. And even though he's gone his Музыка still inspires us and motivates us to do better because he believed we were better. One can only imagine what John could've done with social media and his activism but we can still do that because that was his message,
'Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill или die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you
Ты may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one

And the world will be as one..'
So, in a way the Автор of the Статья made a good point, Because of his never ending message of Любовь and peace he did make us better. We just have to remember to do it.
