Despite completely selling out every show, the North American leg of the tour was reportedly making substantial losses of $4 million. This was due to the complex stages and array of costume changes during the show. Gaga spent $500,000 on one stage alone, with an appearance on the British talent Показать The X Factor - which featured Gaga performing Bad Romance in a giant bathtub, costing £52,000.

Lady GaGa - The Monster Ball

Due to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady Gaga collapsed and passed out before her Показать last night in West Lafayette, IN. Her physician has advised her to take a few days off to rest. As a result – the following shows are canceled:

January 16 – Borgata Casino, Atlantic City
January 17 – Oakdale Theatre, Wallingford CT

The January 18 performance at Mohegan Sun Arena is postponed. A new rescheduled дата is to be announced. Tickets for the January 18 Mohegan Sun дата will be honored at the rescheduled date. Refunds can be made at point of purchase.

Ticket holders for the canceled shows will have first access to tickets for the new date(s) to be scheduled. Those dates will be announced in the near future.
