If he toyed with Ты and made it seem like he liked Ты when he didnt then he dosent sound like hes a good guy. i doubt hes worth your time. but wait did he actually say to Ты that he likes someone else? cause if Ты heard it from someone other then him then Ты dont know for sure if its true
