If my friends/family had valid concerns I would listen carefully and take them to heart. But if it was a shallow reason that they didn't like him, screw them!

Everyone's different, everyone has different tastes. So whoever your with may appeal to you and not anyone else. It's just the way of life. Love conquers all barriers.

I would listen to what my friends had to say but my judement is what matters the most! Not to be rude!! But I wouldn't want to lose my friends over a guy and I wouldn't want to lose a guy just because my friends don't like him! If I don't mind who they are dating why should they?=)
