On average, how much do actors get paid for movies?

Honestly it depends on the Star, starting out actors can make $300 000, whereas someone like Brad Pitt can make up to $30 million a movie (maybe even more)

It depends on a lot of things.

If it's someone really famous and high demand they'll get millions for one movie. (Like for example Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Natalie Portman)

If the actor isn't famous или as high demand it will be in the thousands a lot of the time.

If the movie does really well they usually end up getting more.
So it really all depends.

It TOTALLY depends on how much Ты bring to the box office. If Ты are bankable at the box office, Ты make еще money than say someone like....Eric Estrada. I've heard that Matt Damon is the MOST bankable for the males. I'm not sure if that's true.

well if Ты think about it back in the день actors had a set salary that they got for a film (whether it was a flop или a huge success) if the movie was a huge success the actor didn't get a percentage of the box office receipts even though the film was successful due in large part to them, so they were being cheated. Nowadays actors get both a salary and a percentage of the box office and as everyone сказал(-а) before it does matter who Ты are and what company your working for, independent films may only pay Ты in box office receipts или if the actor is big enough they sometimes do it for free!

Anything from nothing to minimum wage to way too many millions - dependant on several things but ultimately the ability to pull in the cash i.e. put bums on seats and discs in players! Those confident in the product will take pay cut to take points - so if the film does well they rake in more. Points from the likes of Аватар etc. is a very pretty paypacket!!
