You\'ve watched One Direction\'s Carpool Karaoke about 2067 times by this point. You\'ve tried (and failed) to get into your dad\'s car without doing the \'No Control\' choreography and insisting your \'arse is on fire.\' Christ, you even know which GIF from that momentous road trip sums up your life rn. But you might still have one question: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MCDONALD\'S BIT?

So in the initial teasers for The Late Late Show with James Corden skit Niall Horan wanted to go get food from a Maccies drive-thru with the boys, but that whole (undoubtedly hilarious) debacle was nowhere to be seen in the actual broadcast version and some fans were a bit PERPLEXED. Well now producer-type person Ben Winston\'s explained exactly why it wasn\'t included over on Twitter.

With some fans a bit pissed off they didn\'t witness Niall inevitably ordering the entire McDonald\'s menu five times over and Louis (probably) sassing the staff when they only gave him one little pot of ketchup (WHY DO THEY DO THAT?), Ben thought he\'d explain why some stuff was cut from the skit. Oh, and why the lads only performed actual One Direction songs without any karaoke covers.

Replying to one fan, he said: "we didn\'t do covers as we had too many songs of theirs to do! And food was boring ! It can\'t be longer than 13 mins!!​" [sic].

To be fair if it was up to us we\'d be asking for a 113-minute feature length kinda situation, but you can\'t have it all can ya? All we can do is accept that before this happened we weren\'t living, we were merely existing. Let\'s watch it again, shall we?

Even, like, people who never usually give a shit about One Direction are sharing it all over Facebook and stuff. That\'s how brilliant it is, drive-thru or no drive-thru.
