As the months passed, Jane's admiration for Kyle continued to grow. One day, Jane said, "Kyle, I have something to tell you." He said, "I have something to tell you, too, but I am willing to let Ты speak first." She said, "Thank you. I've been having these feelings for a while, and now I finally have the courage to say it. I Любовь you, Kyle. I've loved Ты for the past couple of months." Kyle backed away. Jane was puzzled. "Kyle," she said, "what's wrong? Don't Ты Любовь me, too?" He began slowly, "Jane, I...I Любовь someone else." She cried, "What?!" He said, "I'm sorry. I thought Ты knew." She said, "It's Morgan, isn't it?!" He said, "Yes, it is. Listen, Jane, you're a nice girl and all, but...you're just...not my type." Jane was heartbroken. She said, "I don't understand. What's wrong with me?" He said, "There's nothing wrong with you. She said, "Well, I guess Ты liking me as a friend is better than Ты not liking me at all." During lunch, Jane told Paula what happened. Paula said, "I'm sorry it didn't work out, Jane." Jane said, "I know there's something wrong with me." Paula said, "Jane, there's nothing wrong with you. Maybe Kyle will come around and like Ты romantically." Jane asked, "What if he doesn't?" Paula said, "Then, you'll find someone else." Jane said, "There's nobody out there for me." Paula said, "Jane, look at me." Jane looked Paula in the eye. Paula said, "There is someone out there for you. He might come around when you're not even looking." This made Jane smile, but when she went home, she felt sad again. The Далее morning, she took her Siberian Husky puppy, Shiloh, for a walk. It was Saturday and rather pleasant for October in Grand Rapids. When Jane returned home, she went back to her bedroom.
