This is the Institute in Brooklyn. It is an old gothic cathedral that is run by the Lightwoods. The Lightwoods live in the Institute full time but others can live there if they are approved to by the Lightwoods. Only Shadowhunters can open the doors.

Fallax stepped in. He proceeded to wash himself under the scalding water. Once finished, he stepped out, grabbing a towel to dry himself.

Elizabeth smiled and grabbed a bra and underwear. She went over to the closet, grabbed a tee shirt and jeans, and went into bathroom.

One of his arms slid down and laid across his stomach in his sleep. He mumbled something incoherent and rolled his head to the left before resuming his low humming.
