I Just Might Be Далее Chapter Thirty Nine
The First день of Senior Year-
It was Seth and I's senior year. I was excited, I would be out of school! I was sort of dreading getting a job. But oh well.
Mattie get up! Paul yelled.
I'm up. Can I borrow your dirt bike? I asked yelling back at him.
Ugh, do Ты have to? He groaned.
I would like to. I said.
Can't I just drop Ты off? He asked.
Yes because every senior likes to be dropped off by their brother's friends. I сказал(-а) sarcastically.
Fine, just don't let anyone ride it. Paul said.
Yay! Thank you! I'll even park it on the sidewalk. I chirped.
Ты better leave now before your late. He said.
Okay. Thanks again. I сказал(-а) as I hugged him.
I ran outside and jumped onto the bike. I was about to start it up when I realized I had forgotten my book bag. Paul came running out the door with the bag.
You're forgetting your bag. He said.
I just realized that. I laughed.
Be careful. Paul demanded.
Don't worry I will. I said.
Okay. Bye. Have a good day. He said.
Bye! I yelled over the roar of the bike.
I sped off to the first last день of highschool. It kind of bittersweet.
I got to school and parked the bike of the sidewalk like I had promised Paul.
Эй, senior Mattie! Seth сказал(-а) as I cut the bike off.
Эй, Seth. I laughed.
Excited about the first last день of highschool? He asked.
Yeah a little bit. It's bittersweet. I said.
Yeah, I know what Ты mean. He said.
I'm glad you're back in town for this year! I couldn't survive without my best bud with me. I said.
Yeah Ты could survive without me. He said.
I almost didn't make it last semester. I said.
But you. He said.
Yeah I know. I said.
Seth and I compared our classes and we had every class together which wasn't hard to get because our school was small.
As I sat through my first class, I remembered why I hated school so much. All I could do is sit through it. I had no other choice.
I sat through a class after lunch and saw a new kid. He was different. Tan with blonde hair and blue eyes. He stuck out like a sore thumb. I wonder when he got here? Why he moved here? Why would Ты Переместить here of all places? 
Since it was the first день of school the teachers wouldn't give us that much homework which I loved. It men еще time having fun and less tome focusing on school work.
Seth, Quil, Embry, Jake, and I sat around doing some homework. But we were mostly talking about what we should  when and if we get done with our school work.
Did Ты all see that new kid? I asked.
How could Ты not? Quil asked.
Yeah, he stuck out like a sore thumb. Embry added.
Did Ты find out his name? Seth asked.
No, I ain't going to go up to some new kid and start talking to him. I said.
Seth, Ты forget that Mattie can be shy since the accident. Jacob whispered.
Just because Ты whisper doesn't mean I can't hear you. I whispered.
Right sorry, but it's true. Jake said.
Yeah; yeah. I know. I сказал(-а) as I rolled my eyes.
I was somewhat scared to go up to people and start talking. It was actually stupid that I was scared. I know they won't hurt me, they don't have weapons on them. или at least what I can tell. I've got to get over this stupid little fear.
Okay, let's ge this done so we can actually do something better. Jake said.
We all looked over at Jake and started laughing. He joined us to. Like any of us were serious about doing our school work right now. It would be better for us to get it done. We may be dead tired but who would care.
I've got an idea! I said.
Okay, what? Seth asked.
Let's go to the пляж, пляжный and throw the football. I said.
Yeah while it's still somewhat warm outside. Quil said.
Yeah. Embry added.
We ran out door while Jake grabbed the football. This was going to be fun!
