Contact has been my fav scince it came out, mainly because of the opening sequence, but the entire film is just sooooo easy to watch and having taken part in the 'seti' program, its kinda humbling....lololol!

well, never actually watched the movie but i used to watch Stargate SG-1 with my granpa when i was little... Star Trek episodes occasionally... I REALLY want to watch Galaxy Quest! lol :D

I'm not a big sci-fi fan - Apollo 13 and Armageddon are the only two of these that I've seen.
And I thought Apollo 13 was better. :)

the other movies depicts human's space endeavours in the neighbourhood of earth ....whereas avatar shows us as a spacefaring civilization and it is better and far more adventurous....

I 100% LOVE Gattaca. One of my favourite movies.
