absolutely shocked, I feel for the writers but let's put the art first people! Think of the countless memorable quotes we're going to have to go without
"This makes me so angry, I bet The Office will lose some fans. This is so stupid!"
Not stupid, they're on strike for a good reason. And it basically all of TV, not just The Office, so it would be pretty ridiculous for them to lose fans.
At least we have 2 more episodes before the strike catches up. Hopefully by that time, it'll be over and back on.
I don't think that this is going to be a short thing. They are fighting for more than just bigger contracts, like in 1988. This time they are fighting for a bigger piece of the pie. A pie that I'm sure the company executives don't want to give out.
I thought The Office would be able to last with new episodes till January, but I did not put into consideration that a bulk of the cast were eather in the Writers Guild, or writers themselves. This sucks, This really sucks.
It's my opinion, and there are only 2 episodes left that they actually taped. I don't think the strike will be over that soon. Like tvman mentioned, they are fighting over serious issues. In part they are fighting for the residuals for episodes aired online and I support it. I also understand how serious it is.
