Mirra's POV
After doing my morning tasks, I grabbed my dance bag and headed towards my dance class. I was especially excited because last week the instructor сказал(-а) we would get a new student.
Once I arrived at dance class, I joined in with everyone as they stretched. Afterwards, the instructor told us to wait until she returned with the new student.
Alejandro's POV
As I walked into the dance class with the instructor, all bit one of the girls cluttered around me, which was no surprise to me.
"Alright, take a sit girls. Give him room to breathe", сказал(-а) the instructor. The girls went back to there spots. "Now, boys and girls, I'm proud to introduce our new student Alejandro!"
Everyone greeted me with a hello.
"Take a sit Alejandro so we can begin."
I decided to take a sit in the back of the class.
Mirra's POV
As he walked to the back of class, I couldn't stoop staring at him. He had the eyes of sparkling green emeralds and the upper body of a god.
"Okay class, today we will be learning the tango. Now I will partner everyone up. Tanya with Vince, Ebony with Carlos, Naomi with Richard,......."
As she called out the names, I was hoping
she paired me up with Alejandro.
"And lastly, Mirra with Alejandro."
As I walked towards the back of the class towards my partner, I felt the cold stares of
the other girls on the back of my skull. I sat down beside him.
Alejandro's POV
She took a sit Далее to me. We sat there in silence until I asked, "So, are Ты a good dancer?"
"I wouldn't say I'm a good dancer-"
"Don't be so modest."
She smiled. "I'm actually the вверх dancer of the class."
"So you're beautiful and talented. Wish I was that lucky."
She laughed. "You think I'm beautiful?"
I nodded and saw her blush.
"Okay class, up on your feet." Everyone stood up. "Now, I want the guys to put their left hand on their partners' backside and the girls on their partners' right shoulder." We did as instructed. "Boys, grab your partner's other hand and follow me." She turned on the music, which was playing "Kiss" by Prince, and started moving off the instructor's counts.
AN час LATER
She turned off the music. "Okay class, that's it for today."
Everyone detached from their partners and gathered their things. So did Mirra and I.
Mirra's POV
I went over to my dance bag, placed all my things inside, and headed towards the exit. Then I heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw it was Alejandro.
"Mirra, I just wanted to tell Ты how excellent Ты can dance. Unlike me-"
"You dance really good too."
"Maybe that's true, but not as good as you."
"Here's a wacky idea. I could tutor you."
"I couldn't take that time out of your day-"
"I insist."
"Well, if Ты insist."
"Meet me back here tomorrow evening."
"See Ты then." Alejandro walked back to get his things and I continued to leave.
THE Далее DAY
Today was Saturday and the день I meet with Alejandro. I jumped out of bed, got dressed, and headed towards the dance studio.
When I arrived, it was 12 noon. Where's Alejandro?
AN час LATER
An час had passed and Alejandro still hadn't come yet. I decided to wait 10 еще минуты for him.
After 10 минуты passed, I grabbed my stuff and headed towards the exit when Alejandro came running through the door.
Alejandro's POV
"Sorry I'm-"
"It's okay. You're here now, right? Let's get started." She scrummaged through her bag and took out a cd case containing a cd labeled in a black sharpie the word 'Tango'. She placed the compact disc in the radio and the Музыка began to fill the whole room. "Ready?"
I nodded.
"Good." She came up to me and we got into the tango position just like we did in dance class. "Now follow my lead. Backwards, forwards, right, left." We moved as she called out the dance steps. "One еще time." We danced the same steps as before. "Great job. Let's it try it again, but a little faster."
2 HOURS LATER
We had finished our tutoring session and were on our way to a cafe for a little lunch.
When we arrived, we sat at an empty two person table. A waitor came, we ordered our food, and he left.
"You're a really good dancer. I'm not just saying that. I meant it, you're incredibly good at dancing", сказал(-а) Mirra as she took a sip of her beverage that the waitor brought earlier.
"Then why did Ты insist you'd tutor me?"
She stopped drinking. "Because Ты convinced me that Ты were a terrible dancer and I wanted to prove Ты
wrong, which I did."
"I never сказал(-а) I was a terrible dancer, I just сказал(-а) I wasn't as good as you."
"I didn't know there was a difference."
I laughed and she laughed too. The waitor then brought our food.
All that time I was with Mirra was the best time of my life. She was the most amazing girl I've ever met. The еще she told me, the еще I listened. I was so fascinated by her that I forgotten about the now cold plate of tamales in front me.
Mirra's POV
I had finished eating my plate of chicken alfredo and half of my beverage was gone. It wasn't until now that I realized Alejandro hadn't touched his Еда или drink. "Alejandro, are Ты feeling alright?" He didn't respond. I asked him again. "Alejandro? Ты okay?" Still no answer. What was wrong with him? "Earth to Alejandro!" Ix snapped my fingers and he jumped. That was odd.
He looked dazed. "What were Ты saying, Mirra?"
"I сказал(-а) are Ты feeling okay?"
"Yeah, why would Ты ask?"
"Because Ты haven't touched your food."
He pushed his plate aside. "I guess I'm not that hungry."
When the waitor came to gather our plates, he freezed in his tracks when he saw Alejandro's plate.
"He'll take his Еда to go."
"No problem. I'll be right back with a container and the check." The waitor took my plate and left. After 10 minutes, he came back with a Еда container and the check.
While Alejandro put his Еда into the container I took a look at the check. Not too bad. I picked up my dance bag from under the table, got my wallet, and placed my dance bag back under the table.
When I sat back up, Alejandro had put his Еда in the container and was now looking at the check. I got out the amount of money needed to cover the amount on the check. As I was about to put the money in the check book, Alejandro stopped me. "What are Ты doing", I asked him.
"Put your money away. I'm paying."
"That's really nice of you, but it's okay."
"No I insist."
"Why do Ты wanna pay so much?"
"Because my mother told me a gentleman always pays on the first date.".......................................
