Episode 16: “Dial M For Merger”
“AAAHH!” I screamed as one by one, the campers fell into a pit. I had to do something!
I did a flip in. What, it was always good to practice my gymnastics!
Duncan and the others; Leshawna, Justin, Courtney, Harold and Beth were lying there, possibly unconscious. I stepped over to Duncan.
“Wake up,” I whispered. “Duncan… please…” Nothing happened.
I kissed him.
His eyes flitted open. It worked!! “Kiyurie…?”
The others were starting to wake up also… then Chris explained the challenge. A Spy Challenge… and the teams merged! Yes! No еще competing against Duncan!
“Find the way out of here first,” Chris said.
Justin fell on this rock-thing and an elevator door opened. “Nice, Justin,” I said.
He winked at me.
We all piled in the elevator, and it turns out it leads to this building. Like, 50 feet off the ground.
“What do we do now?” I thought aloud.
Duncan held my hand and squeezed it. “I’m nervous too, babe.” He kissed me on the cheek.
Then Chris appeared and сказал(-а) how we had to get through to the thing in the glass cage.
“Oh, that’s all?” Duncan said, and started forward.
“NO!” I yelled. “Duncan, stop!” I knew there must be something to this.
Then red lasers flashed everywhere. Chris explained how they were lifethreatening.
He wouldn’t mean that.
“Good luck,” Chris said, before he disappeared.
I planted my lips on Duncan’s. I held it there for ten seconds, because I felt like it. Well, okay, maybe I did want to annoy Courtney a bit.
“This might be the last time,” I whispered. “Good luck.”
I ran towards the lasers, doing a series of flips and jumps. Unfortunately, Courtney was good at kung-fu also. She kicked me aside. I punched her in the ribs, and took that as my start.
I reached it first…! But then, Courtney arrived and shoved me towards the lasers.
I could feel everyone’s gazes burning into me. And I could hear Beth’s gasp an Duncan’s “No!”
“Goodbye, Duncan!” I shouted. That made Courtney even angrier.
But at the last second, I grabbed hold of her, and held her down. I jumped up and kicked the glass case. The lasers vanished. Everyone thumped to the ground. I felt a flicker of triumph.
“You did it!” Duncan said.
“I know,” I giggled. He leaned in, and I kissed him.
Then Chris announced that the building would explode in ten seconds. I grabbed Duncan and kissed him. After I released him, I said, “I’ll miss you!” Then an idea blossomed in my head. Crazy, but still an idea. And it might work. I checked the clock. 6... 5... 4... I grabbed Duncan, pushed open the wall, and jumped out, still holding Duncan. I ignored his cries of “Hey!” and “What are Ты doing?” and focused. I softened my landing by sticking one foot in front of the other, and Duncan slammed down beside me. “Thanks,” he said, panting. “I owe Ты one.”
I giggled. “It’s fine. Ты don’t have to…”
I was cut off by his lips. He kissed me, soft, hesitant, and then not so hesitant…
“Let’s use this to our advantage, shall we?” Duncan pulled away and smiled and glanced at me knowingly. This was our way of asking each other to make out. We were still embarrassed by that…
(Duncan’s POV)
Huh. Who knew Yurie could do that? She was wonderful. It’s like she came from heaven… I really feel sorry for the others… though I pushed that away.
Yurie was the thing that mattered to me now; we were on our way to my кабина to make out.
Once we arrived, Yurie shoved open the door. “Which is your bunk?” She asked.
I nodded towards my bunk. “That one,” I said. I sat on my bunk, my back against the wall, and Kiyurie came up against me. We made out for… I really didn’t know how long, but I was enjoying it. After a long while, Yurie ended the Kiss with one еще powerful emphasize, and she pulled away. She looked into my eyes. Her blue eyes were the same color as mine…
“I Любовь you,” she said. Her voice sounded lovely.
“I do, too,” I whispered back. I wondered how she thought my voice was. How she thought my lips tasted, how she thought of me. I knew she sounded like a bell, she tasted like powdered sugar, and… OH HELL WHY WAS I THINKING OF THIS?!
We leaned back in, and my сердце skipped a beat. I knew this wasn’t like me… SO unlike me… but I’d been in Любовь with her since I saw “Miss Kawaii.”
My lips met hers. Cool, soft, and, well, angelic… that was Kiyurie.
We pulled away. Kiyurie said, “The others have to be coming soon.”
“Yeah, I know,” I agreed. I gave her a last kiss, and she disappeared. I sighed. I loved making out with her now… it had seemed so new just last week.
(Kiyurie’s POV)
Duncan… true, I loved him. But I didn’t want to think about him now. I walked into my cabin, and snapped open my sky blue laptop. I entered a chat room.

I snapped closed my laptop, and answered the door. It was Leshawna. What, wasn’t she dead? Unless she found another way to escape. “Chris fooled us all,” she said. “There wasn’t really an explosion. Where were you, by the way?”
Oh.
“Uh, okay, I’ll explain later.” I said. “Why do Ты stink?”
“Oh, right,” she said. “Gotta soak some помидор juice!”

“Uh, bye,” I said.
I closed the door. Well. That was random.
I wandered to the window and stared to the boys’ cabin, where Duncan was also. I met his gaze, and something special happened then between us…
