Duncan was in Courtney’s living room, flipping through the channels of her flat screen. He wasn’t invited here rather he snuck in here. Picking a lock was easy as pie for Duncan.

“Jeez, there’s nothing on today,” he mumbled to himself. “All the channels are freaking Показ little kid shows and crap.”

He sighed deeply and got up, heading to her small, simple-designed kitchen. He opened her refrigerator and began looking for some decent Еда to eat. He grinned when he saw a huge plate of макаронные изделия, макароны in there. He was about to take it when he heard a loud gasp....

The arcade was filled with loud children and a few teenagers, some in private school uniform. It was literally crammed. Courtney was glad she wasn’t claustrophobic.

Duncan whistled lowly near her. “Well, damn, this place is crowded as hell,” he murmured. “I’m going to have to push my way through here by force. I hope the little people won’t get hurt.”

Courtney looked at Duncan with wide eyes. Even though the sentence was a bit on the joking side, she heard a bit of concern in his voice. It made Courtney’s сердце flutter for some reason.

Duncan caught Courtney smiling at him. “What?”...
