CHAPTER ELEVEN: Running With The Devil...

There is this lyric, from a song called FEELING A MOMENNT by a band called FEEDER. The lyric is: "feeling a moment slip away, losing direction and losing fate." And it has a point Ты know? I mean when u feel a moment, and Ты say или do something to let that moment and или oppertunity slip away through your fingers like sand, and when Ты lose direction. And when Ты lose fate. Alright lets put it this way. Have Ты ever gone somewhere, and Ты wonder off, and Ты think u know how to get back, but when Ты do...your friends/family are not there anymore. Thats where losing direction comes in. или lets say Ты are a basket ball player, and Ты get into a fight and are thrown out a window. And a piece of glass sticks into your spleen, making Ты destined to be in a wheel chair. Thats another place losing direction fits! And it also means that just because a moment slips away, doesnt mean Ты cant STAND up and FIGHT back. Fight for your right to party, fight like a brave, fight the power! Take back what's yours, and then hold it tight. Until Ты cant hold it no more. Find a dream that Ты LOVE, hold onto it, and KEEP it! And never let it slip away. или you'll regret it forever!

I felt nervous and fear slide through me like a нож sliding into a peice of butter. I grabbed the handle, and Mandy's hand touched my shoulder.
"What!?" I asked her.
"Dont go in there and come out without knowing what he is!" She сказал(-а) and walked away. I wanted to do so, but what if this is a trap. Wanting me to be on her side, and then killing us both just in time to say PARTY TIME! I dont know, but I felt the nervousness fade away, and took a deep breath. I then turned the knob, and pulled the door open. I then walked to the bedside of Mile just as the door closed. He looked at the floor on his left, then looked at me on his right.
"Hi Mile, are Ты okay?" I asked him. He smiled.
"Hey Kandice, yeah I'm fine. Are you?" He answered.
"Yeah, just a little bit of blood missing, but I'm fine! Will we be okay?" I asked him.
"We should be!" He said.
"No, not the couple thing. I mean US! Will WE be okay? In this world? или in the hands of Mandy?" I wondered.
"I dont know."
"She talked to me in the Waiting Room. She сказал(-а) she wasnt gonna kill either of us right now cause of a bunch of people. But she сказал(-а) Ты werent human. Is that true?" I asked him as he was about to ask if I was hurt или in danger still.
"I cant say Kandice." He сказал(-а) and looked back to his left side, and stared at the floor.
"YES! Yes Ты can!" I сказал(-а) and turned his face to look at mine.
"I cant say или it'll ruin are togetherness!" He сказал(-а) and I laughed in the face of nervous.
"Dont say Ты cant, if it ruins US, then so be it. But its fine. Just, tell me! No lies, the truth!" I сказал(-а) and I let his face go. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes, and then he sighed.
"Mandy was right. I am not human. I'm...a..."
"Please tell me youre not a werewolf!" I сказал(-а) and he laughed.
"No, I'm not a werewolf. But I'm a..." He said.
"Kandice, I'm sorry but your friend is on the phone. Her name is Mandy." She сказал(-а) and I held up one finger as in 'in a minute' and I walked to the phone.
"Mandy, what's your deal?" I asked her.
"Oh nothing, but did he tell you?" She asked.
"He was going to, but he wouldn't finish cause of this STUPID phone calls." I hissed, and she laughed.
"Fine, I'll let Ты go then! Be seeing you!" She сказал(-а) and then the line went dead.
I hung up the phone, and went back into Mile's room. The doctor followed me in, and then told me I had to go. He was going to be released tomorrow, and I need to go Главная and let him rest. So I limped to the curb, after saying good bye to Mile for now, and I held out my hand for a Taxi. The Taxi stopped, and picked me up.
"Where too?" He asked me.
"The nearest motel!" I сказал(-а) and closed to door. He sped off and stopped at the motel called the Miz Motel. I got out, handed the driver the money I owed him, and went to the front desk, and asked for a room. I was assigned room 6, and I handed the lady the money. I then gave her the money, and she handed me the key to room 6. I took it, and walked to the door to room 6. I unlocked the door, and jumped onto the bed. I flinched as the side of the постель, кровати hit my wound. I then pulled my leg onto the bed, curled up into a ball, and then I fell asleep. I looked at the clock before I let me drift into the deep sleep, and it read 8:30 PM. I then let sleep over whelm me, and didnt wake till the Далее day.
------------------------------------------------- The alarm clock whined at 7:45 AM, and I slapped it so hard it almost broke. I then sprung up with an excitement rush as today would be the день Mile was released from the hospital. I walked out of room 6, and locked the door behind me making sure I had the key in my pocket. I then walked to the hospital, and met Mile in his room. I noticed his eyes were closed, but if he wasnt human, then what could he be that let him sleep? I shook him awake, and we talked till the doctor came in and told him to get ready. He walked to the bathroom just as the doctor left the room, and I sat in the chair watching him close the door with his clothes in his hands. I smiled as I thought that today was gonna be okay just like the future, but then Mandy and the disasters and the secret he still needed to tell me. I then frowned, and stood up waiting for his return. He came out five минуты later, and he placed his платье, бальное платье on the bed. He then grabbed my hand, and we walked out of the building as a doctor rushed after us with the release forms. We ran to the Taxi slowing down for another person, and we jumped in slamming the door closed. I shoved money out of the window into the hands of that waiting person, and the Taxi driver took us to the Miz Motel. I closed the dppr, locking it with a sigh, and pushed him on the bed. "You okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah, just fine." He answered and I forgot to ask him what he really was if he wasnt human. A knock came to the door, and I let him answer it. He opened the door, and Mandy stood at the door step.
"Hello Mile. Kandice!" She сказал(-а) and let herself in, slamming the door shut. She held a knife, and a gun. The bad memory rushed back into my head as I jumped to my feet, and saw the gun pointed at me this time.
