Emmett’s POV

The день was over. It wasn’t so bad, if I say so myself. Other than Gym which Jasper hadn’t turned up for. I guess it was too much for him, poor kid. We did барсук him on about it a bit though, and it got on his nerves. Maybe I would see if he wanted to wrestle to take his mind off things. I grinned to myself scaring the little girl walking Далее to me. I joined Alice and Rose in Edwards Volvo.
“Where’s Edward?” I asked.

“Funny. I was gonna ask Ты the same thing” Rosalie сказал(-а) looking clearly pissed off. She wanted to go home. Alice blinked out of her vision.
“Just coming, he had a problem in class today.”

Edward? a problem in class? That wasn’t like him. He got in slamming the door.

“Chill out bro.” I said. He turned around glaring at me before taking a deep breath and calming down.

“Edward are you...”

“IM FINE ALICE” Edward growled.

Alice sank back into the passenger seat, upset. I decided to stay quiet, other than getting my head snapped off too. He turned on the ignition, swerving quickly out of the lot and speeding down the high way. He stopped at the end of the winding road leading to our house. Me and Rose took the hint and got out.

“I’ll miss you.” Alice сказал(-а) leaning in to Kiss him on the cheek.


Rosalie’s POV

“Alice what’s going on?” I asked. Alice shook her head speeding down the drive.

“ALICE!” I shouted. God why couldn’t she just tell us?!

“Ali?” Emmett called. I turned to look at him and he shrugged.

We followed her down the road, glancing at each other every now and again.

“Rosalie?” Esme called. “Where’s Edward?”

I sighed.
“Ask Alice she’s the one who seems to know.” Everyone turned to look at Alice.

“He’s leaving, Esme, there was this girl and he almost killed her. He’s gone to the hospital to change cars with Carlisle.”

Esme’s face melted into a mask of horror. “Why didn’t he come Главная first?”

“He knew Ты would try to stop him, Esme, he didn’t want to upset you.”

“Will he be back?”Where’s he gone?” She asked again.

“I don’t know either of them. I’ll let Ты know when I find out.” Esme picked up the phone and quickly dialled Carlisle.


Carlisle’s POV

“Carlisle is Edward there yet?”Esme asked truly worried.

“He’s already left love.” I said.

“Why did Ты let him go? He might not be ok! He might not come back, he might...he might.” Esme broke off crying tearless sobs.

“Come on Любовь its ok. He сказал(-а) he was going to Denali for a while. He’ll be ok. Edward can look after his self.” I soothed.

Esme sniffed and I heard Rosalie making kind remarks in the background.

“I’m coming Главная now. I’ll see Ты soon. I Любовь you.” I сказал(-а) before disconnecting the phone line. I didn’t want Esme to be upset over this. Edward had to make his own decisions. This was exactly why he didn’t come Главная before leaving, because he knew he would upset Esme.

I hung up my white пальто and turned the lights out in my office, before getting into Edwards Volvo. It was weird driving his car instead of my black Mercedes. I got Главная opening the door and going to find Esme. They were all sat in the sitting room watching Alice. I ruffled Rosalie’s hair before sitting down Далее to Esme and capturing her in a tight hug. “Everything will be ok, I promise.” I muttered into her ear.

Alice’s POV

“IT’S ALL BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID HUMAN GIRL BELLA!” Rosalie screeched.

I was going to be great Друзья with Bella. I knew it. So I was kind of offended when Rosalie сказал(-а) this.

I sat down on the sofa for god knows how long.

“I think so.” My mind had been running through possibilities all afternoon.

Rosalie could be right. Maybe the world was going haywire. But him coming Главная was some small proof that he didn’t find someone еще attractive than me on his hunting trip.

“Huh?” Was I being talked to? Oh it was Jasper still. Oops!

“What’s wrong?” He asked, searching my eyes.
