It's not uncommon for the most dangerous villain in a franchise to be built up for a long time. Some films won't give their biggest villain a chance to shine in their first film, while some shows will keep their biggest villain hidden for entire seasons. For example, the big villain in Avatar: The Last Airbender didn't Показать his face until the third and final season. Also, Pokémon's biggest villain, Giovanni, was hidden in the shadows until the 63rd episode of the series.

One of the most built-up villains in all of fiction is Horde Prime. Horde Prime is a villain from the Masters of the Universe franchise, specifically for the She-Ra series. The She-Ra series premiered in 1985, so Ты might expect to see what Horde Prime's like in 1986 или 1987. However, that was not the case. Horde Prime occasionally appeared in the series, but Фаны didn't get to see what he was really like until 2020. In other words, Фаны had to wait 35 years to see what Horde Prime was truly like as a villain.

For those that don't know, the main antagonist of the original She-Ra series was Hordak. Hordak was the leader of the Evil Horde, a team of bad guys that attempted to take over the kingdom of Etheria. A group of Герои formed the Great Rebellion to try to thwart the Evil Horde's plans. Hordak served as the adopted father of Adora, Prince Adam's twin sister. Hordak raised Adora and attempted to make Adora see the Great Rebellion as the villains while also seeing the Horde as the heroes. However, Prince Adam, better known as He-Man, came to Etheria to tell Adora who the true Герои were. After learning the truth, Adora became the heroic She-Ra and started fighting against Hordak and the Evil Horde. Hordak was also Skeletor's original boss. However, Skeletor betrayed Hordak and moved to Eternia.

While Hordak was the leader of the Evil Horde, the one who truly called the shots was Horde Prime. Horde Prime was Hordak's older brother. Skeletor may have been Eternia's biggest threat and Hordak may have been Etheria's biggest threat, but no villain threatened еще planets in the universe than Horde Prime. Horde Prime didn't want to just rule over a single planet. He wanted to conquer as many planets as possible. Skeletor and Hordak were both ambitious and villainous, but that was nothing compared to Horde Prime. Horde Prime took villainous ambition to a whole new level.

Despite Horde Prime being the most dangerous threat in the entire franchise, he never fought She-Ra in the original series. In fact, there wasn't a single episode where he ever interacted with her. Horde Prime was too busy with other villainous plans to pay attention to He-Man или She-Ra. Instead, he had Skeletor and Hordak fight them. When Horde Prime did appear in the show, it was usually to get mad at Hordak for his failures. He also appeared in the He-Man and She-Ra Рождество special. He tried to have Skeletor and Hordak keep human kids from spreading the magic of Рождество to Eternia and Etheria, but things didn't go according to plan. Horde Prime was so mysterious that his physical appearance remained a mystery. His eyes and hand were shown, but what he really looked like was unknown.

In 2018, She-Ra received a reboot series. In the show, Hordak appeared to be the greatest threat to Etheria. However, the show's third season revealed that Horde Prime existed in the reboot. Horde Prime continued being built up as the biggest threat, but he continued remaining elusive. However, the finale of the fourth season let the Фаны finally get a good look at one of the most built-up villains in Анимация history. Horde Prime was revealed to be a white-skinned creature who had extra eyes. Hordak was revealed to be one of many clones of Horde Prime. Horde Prime made his clones to serve him without question, but when Hordak started having emotions of his own, Horde Prime discarded him as if he were a broken machine. After the fourth season, Horde Prime was no longer a mysterious figure that was hidden in the shadows. He finally became the main antagonist of the She-Ra franchise.

Did Horde Prime live up to the 35 years of build up? He certainly did. Horde Prime proved himself to be worthy of being called the most dangerous villain in the universe. There are very few villains in Анимация as deadly as Horde Prime. Nearly every villain in He-Man and She-Ra were дана some sympathetic qualities. Even villains like Skeletor and Hordak had their moments of humanity. However, Horde Prime had very little, if any, humanity. He claimed to want to make things better, but his version of making things better was hypnotizing people into worshiping him. He was so cold-hearted that he destroyed entire planets that stood in his way.

Horde Prime had such a massive ego that he believed that he was the greatest specimen in all of creation. He believed that the world should be filled with mindless clones and servants that followed his every order. In other words, he was one of the most egocentric monsters in all of animation.

The world had to wait 35 years to see how truly evil and dangerous Horde Prime was, but it was worth the wait.

There are a lot of Рождество films that are considered to be classics. This Статья is to look at my personal favorite. My Избранное might seem like a bit of an odd choice, but odd opinions are ones of the things that I'm most used to having. My Избранное Рождество film is the Бэтмен Рождество film. Ты might be wondering what I'm talking about. I'm referring to 1992's Бэтмен Returns.

Batman Returns might not seem like a film that would typically qualify as a Рождество film. After all, it's a Готика drama that's directed by Tim Burton. However, Бэтмен Returns happens to take place during the...

When I made my Статья about Бэтмен villains, I focused on the prominent villains from Бэтмен comics who have a long history. Some of those villains have been around for decades and have been in hundreds of stories. This Статья is for Бэтмен villains who didn't appear in that many stories, but still made a memorable impact on me. After all, quantity and quality are two different things. This Статья focuses on villains that were created for TV rather than comics. Like my other articles, this is a test to see how many characters I can name off the вверх of my head. There's no way I can remember...
