Do Ты think that writers should be avid readers?

Not neccessarily, I think it depends on the person.

That's how I became a writer:
Studying my Избранное authors' works and meshing their Письмо styles together to create my own. Not everyone works that way, though.

They don't HAVE to be. If Чтение helps Ты come up with techniques или ideas, then sure. But some get techniques and ideas from their own mind.

It depends on the person. But I think it helps learn new words and better grammer. It also inspires ideas if your careful not to steal. But no, they don't have to be.

I think it helps. I personally am an avid reader and I think it helps with my writing. But I don't think in order to be a writer Ты must be a reader.

In general it depends on the person but sometimes they are interchangeable. personally i was a bigger writer than reader for a long time in a matter fact it wasn't till the last год and a half или so that i actually began Чтение committedly i've read еще than ever believed possible for me i read Dracula, the invisible man, the legend of sleepy hollow, A series of unfortunate events the austere academy and затвор, затвора island in the last 3 months. That may not sound big to a lot of Ты but it was huge for me. Ordinarily something thick like Dracula would take me a месяц but it took me just a few weeks.
Чтение does help at times and is great to help Ты look at other Письмо styles. and can give Ты inspiration as well i got an idea from the invisible man that i thought was a good idea

Yes, I think it's necessary. I haven't met или even heard of a writer that doesn't read anyway.
