Falling. I was falling. All I could see was darkness. Nothing else. Just darkness. No, I wasn’t falling.
I was floating. Floating through space, stars suddenly appearing. Fat green ones and bright reds, along with the hues yellow and purple inbetween. I gazed in wonder. It was so beautiful. I never want to leave here.
“Mary Shelton, get up right this instant!” I woke up, the alarm clock screaming by my ear.
“Elizabeth!” my mother yelled. She was obviously ticked.
“Rrg…” I mumbled. I’m up, I just-“ I stopped short when a peculiar sight caught my eye. A guy. A hot guy. A super-hot guy. Standing in my yard.
“Elizabeth!”
“Coming!” I slid a pair of jeans on and a soft, cream colored blouse, complete with matching Теннис shoes.
“Hello,” I whipped around, almost bumping into the guy that was standing in my yard, who is now standing in my bedroom.
“Who… who the heck are you?”
“Your one true love. Now, I vanish,”There was a swirl of black dust, almost like a mini tornado, and he was gone. Just like that.
“Mary!” My mother screamed.
“I’m coming!” I yelled back. I made my way downstairs to an awaiting breakfast of eggs, pancakes, and bacon, as well as тост smothered with home-made preserves and loads of butter.
Yet ANOTHER figment of my imagination. I thought as I gobbled down my ‘Calories for the Cure’ breakfast. I’m 17, and my only boyfriend is now just particles floating in the Сверхъестественное wind. How poetic. If only it was the story if my life. I went outside for a walk, when I saw Supernaturally-super-hot-figment-of-my-imagination-guy sitting on the curb at the end of the walk. He obviously had muscles, noted by his tight, button-down рубашка that hugged his biceps. He looked sharp, tantalizing.
“Hello, my lovely,” he said, standing up and pulling out a blood-red rose. He tucked it into my long, wavy, choppy, all-of-the-above hair.
“Who are you?” I asked, blood rushing to my cheeks.I barely know him, and I’m already Актёрское искусство like he’s my biggest crush или something! ‘He may just be Ты biggest crush. A voice сказал(-а) in the back of my head, which I quickly hushed up.
“I already told Ты that. I am your one true love,” he explained, a hideous grin appearing at the sides of his mouth.
Gosh, what is with this guy? I thought.
“Listen, I have to go to sch-“ Suddenly his eyes went a dark, midnight sky color, and he grabbed me, dipping me as though this was all some kind of mad, possessed tango lesson. He kisses me on the tip of the nose, smiling. His mouth strolls down through my hair, over the side of my head and stops at my ear. I barely hear him whisper “No Ты don’t. It’s Saturday. Come with me.”
He then wraps his arms even tighter around me-if that’s even possible- and we both vanish into clouds of smoke, one black, and one a golden-green hue.
“HOLY CRAP!!” I try to yell, but no sound is heard except a ghostly whisper. A voice, somewhat like supernatural-super-hot-guy’s here, tells me, “You have been chosen. Do not deny his presence. Ты are Him. He is You. Любовь Him. Let Him Любовь You.” My blue eyes go wide as he drops us off at some Болталка desert that screams, ‘Hey, Welcome to Vegas!’
“Well, that was fun, wasn’t it?” He asks, still holding onto me.
“I don’t know what Ты call fun, but that doesn’t fall into my fun category,” I retorted, not thinking much of the disembodied voice I’d just heard. “Where are we, anyway?”
“We’re anywhere Ты want us to be, darling,” he says with an easy smile.” But, most people call it Las Vegas.”
“Why the heck are we in Vegas?! It’s dusty, and sandy. And ew,” I said, blowing my hair off my face, pushing him away and dusting myself off. “Ugh! My good clothes!” He was laughing. Laughing! What is with this guy? He says he loves me, then shoots up into the sky, good looks and all. His perfect tan skin, not too dark, his muscle-y arms, and his hair. Oh, his mid-neck length, raven black hair, not too long, nor too short. It was like he came right out of my dreams.
We walked awhile in silence (who knows where to), then I suddenly stopped.
“If you’re going to take me captive, I want to know your name. And don’t give me any of that ‘It’s whatever Ты want it to be’ crap.”
“But it’s true,” he replies.
“Oh, so, if I call Ты Mr. Mambe Pambe Wiffle Corten Warts, you’d be okay with it?”
He sighed. “Okay, I can’t take this anymore. Hey, guys, the joke’s over! Can’t do this anymore! She asked me my name!” He yelled out to the sky, as if anyone could hear us out here in the middle of the desert. “By the way, it’s Levi,” the last sentence was сказал(-а) in a hushed tone, as if it was only for me to hear.
“Levi? What the heck is a name like that?” I say, raising an eyebrow.
“It’s my name, and I’m proud of it,” he says, moving closer to me and I, in response, keep moving backwards.
“Whoah, startin’ to creep me out here,” I say, bumping into him when he suddenly appears behind me. I start running, forwards, and yelp in surprise when he tackles me and pins me down. I start struggling under him, trying to break his grip on my wrists, trying to shake his weight off me.
“Hey! Get off me! Help!” I holler as he pins my wrists on either side of my head.
“Shut the heck up или I’ll make it worse!” He whispers harshly into my ear. “Yo, guys, it’s not a joke anymore! The bet’s off! Come on!”
Then, suddenly, I see three guys (super-hot like Levi here) appear out of the brush that we’d just passed a few минуты ago.
“What Ты got there, Leevs?” the first one says. “Looks pretty hot to me.”
“Shut up, Eathan, she doesn’t know what’s real,” Levi says, still on вверх of me. Now, seing these three other guys, I’m kind of glad he’s in between me and them.
“I-I’m innocent… please... leave me alone!” I plead, wriggling and screaming.
“Shuddup! Guys, help here, she’s starting to-“ Levi cut off what he was saying as I break loose of his grip aand ru away. I forget about the three other guys, the idiot that I am, and soon I’m in an SUV, Eathan in the front, with Levi driving and the other two holding my wrists and commenting on how good I look.
“Dang, she’s hot. Can I have her? I’ll be gentle,” the blondie on my right says, winking at me. I shiver inside, trying not to think what he’ll be ‘gentle’ about.
No, Jace. I found, her, I get her,” the brown-haired one on my left says, toying with my ожерелье before letting his hand glide down my side. “You’re real pretty,” he grins at me, and I shudder again.
“Shut up, both of you! Chris, get your hands off her, before I pull over and beat you,” Levi says, Актёрское искусство as if Chris was his child. Chris crossed his arms over his chest and mumbled something. “Listen here, Blondie,” Levi tells me from the front seat. “We’re going to my house. It’s in the woods. Ты don’t fight, Ты don’t scream, everything’ll okay,” I start shaking, tears running down my burning cheeks.
“I… I just want to go h-home…”I say, sobbing, seemingly against my will. Levi pulls over.
“Well, too bad. If it’s any consolation, we’re not going to hurt you, right guys?” he asks, putting a really big emphasis on the last few words, making me feel even еще scared. ‘He lures me in with his hotness, then ‘feeds’ me to his friends, and to make sure I shut up, kills me. Great. Nothing ever goes right for me.’
“Aww, c’mon, Leevs. Just because Ты found her doesn’t mean youcan keep her all Ты yourself,” the one named Jace says, now fiddling with my sleeve. “What type of fabric is this?”
I snort, my sarcasm breaking through my Стена of tears.”Great, now I’m trapped in a фургон, ван with a bunch of gay guys.”
“Hey, Jace сказал(-а) it, not me! And we’re not gay!” Chris yells, slapping me in the face, causing me to fall into Jace’ lap, much to his pleasure and my dismay before Levi butts in again.
“Knock. It. Off. Leave her alone!” he yells, shoving Eathan into the back and pulling me up t the front. The guys moan, and I shake violently. Levi frowns and starts driving faster.
“I’m really sorry,” a voice inside of my head tells me. I jerk my head up.
“What the heck!?” I say, looking around, only to find Levi staring at me with sad eyes. “Okaaay…” I say, looking out the tinted window.
“Don’t worry, Jace won’t hurt you. But I have no promises for Chris. He just likes to play when it comes to food.” He says casually.
“F-f-food?” I ask hesitantly. Обои of different C.S.I. episodes flash before my eyes.
“Oh, no, not the Еда you’re thinking. We’re not cannibals!” he Ответы quickly, as if he had read my exact thoughts.
“Then what do Ты mean?”
“It’s a little complicated. Here, we’re at the house. Now, if Ты promise not to run away once I unlock the doors, then I’ll only make Eathan watch you. Deal?” he says, in such a casual way Ты wouldn’t think he’s discussing who’s on guard duty with his hostage. I nod my head and carefully use my shaking hand to open my door. I hand my head and walk toward the house while Levi opens the door.

Sleep was improbable
Emerging from my bed
Like a delicate butterfly
Raindrops pouring on my smooth, darkened window.
Pondering miraculous thoughts
About being a teen in America
Freedom to express myself as an individual
I want to relinquish my profound story
Being a teenager with freedom is
Hopeful
Rewarding
Honorable
Desirable
The past is behind me, the future is just beyond my grasp
Learning to be flawless through life's experiences
Having the pleasure to persue my ambitious talent
Being a teen in America simply is my stepping
stone to future greatness.
Give away to the morning
Light is here
Look away from the mourning
Is she gone, is she still...?
And let the день go ahead
Without you
Find a place, a dark space
To hide you
What’s a day, a sunny day
To you?
Fade away, let the your rainclouds
Guide you
There goes the downpour
Long gone your hello...
Find it in you
To make that last stand
It’s a silent drive
It’s her very last one.
Here come the clear skies
There goes your fare well...
Light is here
Look away from the mourning
Is she gone, is she still...?
And let the день go ahead
Without you
Find a place, a dark space
To hide you
What’s a day, a sunny day
To you?
