Could Trump actually win the presidency?

Technically, any of the candidates could actually win.

Realistically, no, he's not. How it works is that there are two big parties in the running: the Democrats and the Republicans, and each party will elect 1 candidate to run for president, and then America Голоса for one of those two.*

Trump probably is not even going to get the Rebublican nomination (link). Furthermore, most people aren't actually polling right now (and really won't even be paying much attention to the campaigns until Далее year), so Trump doesn't have as much support as it looks like he does. (link)

The reason it looks like Trump has a lot of support is because he is a master at hitting the buzzwords for the hardcore right wing conservatives (and those are the people who are polling). So the right-wing news outlets cover him because he's saying what they want to hear, and the rest pick him up because what he's saying is so off the wall, they have to cover it.

I think the reason he has a lot support is because he is so... controversial. He causes a lot of commotion with everything he says или does. Some think he'd make a "strong" leader, but he won't. He's just spitting out first-grade insults to anyone who doesn't agree with him или sees as a threat. People are so... stupid. The reason why I am so against him becoming president is not much because he's racist, или insults everyone, или "evil", but because he's a coward. I'd much rather live under dictatorship than live under a cowardly president.

Yes, I think it's possible that he could actually win the presidency, especially considering his strong numbers in the Опросы and large amount of support with Americans he seems to have, despite the mainstream media being еще against him for his controversial remarks, especially since he initially announced he was running.

Ironically, the mainstream media is еще against him than the American population is and it's very likely that he has еще support than reported. This is a possibility because A) Mainstream media is largely against Trump and therefore makes people feel the need to stay quiet или be ashamed about their support for Trump so B) When people are polled face to face, the numbers for Trump are pretty low. However, when polled on the phone или online, Trump's numbers are about 20+% higher. Obviously there is the issue of online Опросы not being very trusted so this could go either way but it's still certainly a possibility.

That being said, Опрос numbers in advance are not completely reliable. As mentioned in the beginning of this thing, Trump has been dominating in the Опросы since his announcement but these Опросы are also “completely unreliable” in the opinions of some. As much as there is a chance that he is doing better than the Опросы are showing, he could also be doing worse.

Additionally, most Опросы are based on the scenario of Trump vs Clinton, since until recently Clinton has been claimed to be "unbeatable" in her party. Her runner up is Bernie Sanders who is starting to Опрос higher whereas he was reported before as not really having a chance”. Quite a few people who had supported Trump also supported Sanders but didn't think Sanders could beat Hilary. Now that he is Показ a stronger chance of winning, as well as Hilary Clinton might be ineligible to run as a result of her criminal activity etc, there is a real Вопрос of Sanders vs Trump that hasn’t really been polled and debated much before so the numbers related to this unexpected “showdown” (if Ты will) seem to be anyone’s guess.

There's always potential for something like that to happen. I personally think it's a massive joke, but it's America's problem, so Ты guys can deal with it.

I'm in England and therefore i probably have no right to answer this Вопрос but the all out thought here in my tiny part of my tiny country is HELL NO! He's a fricking idiot, all the people i know are quite against him. I would despair for my american Друзья if he ever got into parliment :( That man is not suited for election!
