Ты shouldnt be afraid to be who Ты are, just sit with your mom and have a talk and explain your feelings she is your mom, if she finds out in a different way its likely she will be very upset to have not heard it from you, also if Ты do get bullied tell your school/parents, bullying and certainly homophobia should not be tolerated
