Do Ты personally find the word 'Queer' insulting & offensive when referring to ЛГБТ population in general или is it quite acceptable to Ты as a perfect substitute for the ЛГБТ which is an acronyme after all?

I personally don't like the word Queer. It just doesn't sound like a nice word and it sounds weird.
But for the most part, people use the word in a positive way, so I don't think its insulting или offensive.

Yeah I'm not really a Фан of being called queer. It's usually not something that's used positively. If other people want to be called that then fine, but not me.

I personally don't like it, but if others want to use it to refer to themselves, that's fine. Ultimately, it depends on the context.

I just think others within the ЛГБТ 'community' should be mindful that not everyone is okay with being called queer, или calling it the 'queer community.'
