Thinking fast, Dash grabbed Spike and used him as a flameflower, catching many of them of them on fire, some even died, since there's no water или anything nearby, but the others weren't burned as bad.
But the battle wasn't over yet.
The changelings were still coming, but Spike was temporary all out of fire, no longer giving her that opinion, so she put it down.
