I believe we don't have inner eye lids. But I get that when I wake up или during the night, it has to do something to do with the saline fluid that covers our eyes. the crusty crap from the corners of our eyes has something to do with the fluid from the eyes. But far as inner eye lids, we don't have them like some animals, like reptiles, Кошки and Собаки do.

It's the liquid that protects your eyeballs. It's thicker depending on the person, so yours could just be really thick!
