How can I become popular?

Because I wander how that happens because I recently switched from a catholic school to a public school.

Half the people here are just stereotyping Популярное kids as sluts with too much makeup who aren't really Друзья with each other. So many things wrong with that. That's stereotyping. A lot of Популярное kids are strong Друзья with each other even if there is some bickering and bitching. Yeah there's a lot of sex and drugs but their choices don't make them bad people. Slut shaming? How about no. "Popular" kids are not all as superficial as people will have Ты believe. So here's the thing - Ты should be yourself but if that means Ты want to be popular, ok, go for it. Just make Друзья with them like you'd make Друзья with anyone else.

Sweetie, being Популярное isn't all glitz and glam.

I'd highly suggest, Ты just be yourself, and people will want to be your friend, and if Ты become popular, great! if Ты don't that's great too!

XD I guess so. But whatever is my opinion on it, giving out those kinds of freebies would still cost a lot.

I think staying true to who Ты are and achieving what Ты believe in is the most important thing to do.. and Ты shouldn't worry so much about having loads of other people around. That's my advice.

Ты think the Популярное girls have their Друзья around them 10 years later? Believe me they don't. How do i know? Dude, i left school 9 years ago, and the Популярное girls, please, they have got nothing! Be yourself, be honest, be understanding, fight to defend yourself when Ты have to. You'll be the best out of them, believe me. I've been there. I have lived that life, i'm best out of them!

Plus, Ты need to focus on just being you--no one else. I'm OK with just being me. I never had any desire to "fit in" and "be like everyone else".

From close observation of the 'popular' kind while being non-existent, throughout all the schools I have been my findings Показать that the most common characteristics of those people are: Being shallow, low intelligence, good или not terrible looks (or girls can be terrible but they have boobs или are sluts), lack of humour (although they and their kind think they are oh-so-witty),high confidence (I give them that), sociable nature, enough money to buy useless-but-fashionable crap, no connection whatsoever to Книги and literature, bad Музыка taste. Still someone who aims at being Популярное is very likely to have these attributes and eventually succeed (or will realise this crap doesn't matter, so :why be miserable?)
