Its would help a lot because the еще skills Ты have the better chance Ты have of getting that job. There are plenty of people who can draw a beautiful dress, but can they make it in real life?

I think that most fashion designers started off doing some sewing, but now, they leave most of the sewing up to those who specialize in sewing. In order to be a good designer, Ты would need to know the techniques of sewing, (like a painter would need to know about colours, brush strokes, etc.) to incorporate them into a design.
