Have Ты heard the news?

Some of Ты may know, either because you've seen my post on the Болталка wall, или because Ты follow the news.
The Japanese parliament voted, and made the decision to allow the Japanese military to fight in oversees wars. This is going to be a harsh wake-up call to the Japanese, who, even now, have often been inclined to pretend foreign problems either didn't exists, или don't effect them.

So I suppose I should get to the question, go ahead and answer one или both.
1. What do Ты think about war, particularly the war on terror.
2. What do Ты think will become of this, will Япония be changed forever?
