This is actually insane...

Welcome back to fanpop, AlexSelenaRules.

I've been on Fanpop for nearly 3 three years.

And yes, Fanpop has changed but not because a lot of people have signed up here, but I've realized that a lot of Fanpop users have left.

Oh man I've been here since 2010 and I was TWELVE back then. Fanpop was awesome back then, there was always something going on and I was OBSESSED with this place. Then I took like, a 4 год break and I logged back into my account last год and I was like HOLY SHIT I WAS SUCH A AWKWARD PERSON UGHHHHH. AND Fanpop IS SO BORING NOW COMPARED TO A FEW YEARS AGO. But I'm still into the same stuff...just not as strongly. And I'm still kind of an asshole, like I was then. Sometimes I go back and read all the old conversations I had with people all those years назад and the nostalgia is so real. Fanpop isn't the same and it never will be, but I still can't bring myself to Удалить my account. Too many memories.

Fanpop is just like any other websites to me
i don't have Друзья online and i'm okay with that
i have 4 close Друзья in real life and i spend most of my time offline
well Fanpop is a special website if that makes any sense
it has my memories good and bad but at the same time i'm not attached to it
so i'm indifferent towards it

I joined on my birthday (December 15) last year. It hasn't changed one bit and neither have my tastes (Except for my favourite characters from my favourite anime, they've changed a lot)

I can understand that feeling. I wouldn't consider myself a Veteran and honestly, this is nothing compared to how many years certain Members have been staying on here but after being on Fanpop for 5 years, I always feel kinda nostalgic when I turn back and see how my activity began. When it comes to change, there are few new functions like the Золото system for example which allows Ты to further customize your Профиль and the Chat which was re-enabled after a long while, from what I understand. Of course, there is also the downside of things. Not sure if that was the case when Ты first joined too but as Ты will probably realize, the number of active Users has been significantly reduced. Certainly, there is much less activity than it used to be and just like the Users, quite a few клубы have been staying inactive for quite a while. It is kinda disappointing since, personally, I was starting to get close with a few Users who left and it is also getting all the harder to feel the satisfaction of other people joining Ты on a particular activity since that's what Fanpop is all about. Фаны of various subjects sharing knowledge, opinions and interests with each other. Fanpop doesn't feel like a Social Website but еще like a Форум as a whole for me. When it comes to my tastes, nah. I might have found new interests of mine but I haven't really left anything behind from the time I joined. Pretty much, that's about it !!!!

I made my first account in 2009. It has changed a lot.

Oh my God, I made my account in May 2010 when I was 14 years old. I don't listen to any of the bands I listened to then, and barely any of my Избранное movies/tv shows/books are the same.

Just looking back at my very first Комментарии on here fills me with nostalgia. Apparently I even прокомментировал(-а) on Selena Gomez and Hannah Montana polls. Boy have my tastes changed.

The logo has changed and Ты can add a banner on your Профиль and background. It has changed since I joined.
