Donut kept complaining about everything. He complained about not getting enough hooficures. He complained about getting too much work. It was so annoying that Nikki decided to put an end to it once, and for all.
Nikki: *Sitting at the station with Anthony, and Donut* I ain't happy with what Ты did yesterday. Ты just left your train on a bridge.
Donut: Shut the fuck up. I didn't ask for anypony to criticize me about my job.
Nikki: Then it's a good thing my sister is coming back today. She'll teach Ты common sense before it's too late.
Donut: What does your sister have to do with any of this?
Nikki: My sister Meadow saved this railway.
Anthony: Please tell us about it.
Nikki: Alright. It was 1956, just two months before you, and Roger started working here. Things were bad. We were the only two engineers on this section of the line. It wasn't as long as it is now, but the work was still difficult.
Anthony: That sounds terrible.
Nikki: I tried hard, though my legs ached a lot. My sister was younger, and had еще energy. She also had a really tough job.
Flashback, Nikki is narrating
June 3, 1956
My sister Meadow had to drive her train to Winnemuca Neighvada. Her train had ten passenger cars, and they were fully loaded. She was using engine 2472, but had no firepony. She was all alone in the engine.
Meadow: *Sitting in engine*
Conductor: Gee, there's a lot of ponies boarding this train. *Checks watch* All aboard!!
Meadow: *Blows whistle twice, and pulls throttle. She notices her engines wheels are slipping* Come on, don't let me down. *Pours sand onto rails, and shovels еще coal into firebox*
She stopped her engines wheels from slipping, but the job was still tough on her own. Further up the line, she was driving uphill.
Meadow: *Shovels еще coal into firebox* еще power, еще speed. *Continues shoveling, but hurts her leg from working too hard* Ow! *Stops train*
She went inside one of the passenger cars, and talked to the conductor.
Conductor: Meadow, what happened?
Meadow: I hurt myself. Is there a doctor here?
Conductor: We need a doctor over here! The engineer is hurt!
пони 4: *Walks over* I'm a doctor. Let me check her.
Ponies: *Nervous* If the engineer is in too much pain, who will drive the train?
Conductor: Relax everypony, please.
пони 4: Ты tore a muscle in your right front leg. Do Ты think Ты can still drive the train?
Meadow: I'll try, but I need somepony to help me.
пони 4: May I go with her?
Conductor: Certainly.
So Meadow, and the doctor went back in the engine. Meadow drove, while the doctor shoveled еще coal into the firebox.
But Meadow wasn't feeling too well. Everything in her eyesight blurred. She was too tired to drive, but she didn't give up. She was able to stay awake until they got to the station where they needed to stop.
Meadow: *Gets out of engine with the doctor* Thank you.
пони 4: No problem. It was a pleasure working with you.
Conductor: *Walks over* Meadow, the passengers are pleased with your performance. They сказал(-а) that they will continue riding our trains, and tell all of their Друзья about us.
Meadow: How amazing.
The flashback ended, and we return to Nikki with Anthony, and Donut sitting at the station in Ogden.
Nikki: And so, we got еще passengers, and our railway got еще money, all thanks to Meadow's dilligence.
Donut: Thank Ты for telling me that story. Now that I think about it, I was very stupid for leaving that train on the bridge.
Anthony: Everypony makes mistakes.
An час passed, and the train that Meadow was on arrived in Ogden. Lots of ponies came to celebrate the return of Meadow, and even some ponies from the Union Pacific came to see her.
Meadow: *Walks off train, and onto station platform*
Nikki: My sister is back!!
Ponies: *Cheering*
Meadow: *Walks toward Nikki* Ты know, this really made me happy. I'm glad to have a sister that cares for me like you.
They were all glad that Meadow returned. They had a party with Rock & Roll music, hotdogs, soda, and ice cream.
