On the IMDb page for Beauty & the Beast, it's stated that the Beast was дана the name Adam in a video или CD-ROM game. I'm not sure why they decided to give him after the movie came out, but it seems to fit him. Больше года

To me it doesn't fit him because it's supposed to be a French fairy tale. The name Adam isn't even French, it's Hebrew. Even in the original fairy tale he isn't дана a name at all. Just referred as the Beast или the Prince. Больше года
