There is a law that passed last год that сказал(-а) that it would be illegal to buy, sell, или own "bad" Манга after 2011. Like with violence and sex and other innapropriate content. I think that Яой fell under the category of innapropriate as well. But I'm not entirely sure what became of that plan.
