Both of Shinichi-kun's parents are! Yusaku-san (his father) and Yukiko-chan (his mother) oh and they're from the Аниме Meitantei Conan by the way!

Misaki Ayuzawa's (From Kaichou wa Maid Sama!) parents are alive. She lives with her Mom and sister and her Dad ran away from home, but is alive and introduced later in Manga.

If they're not dead, chances are at least one of them is away for a while. Just got introduced to Chitoge's mother Hana Kirisaki from in the latest issue of Nisekoi.
