I think that if Ты forget the spoilers for 4x04, it really wasn't that bad. It maybe wasn't the best episode ever, but it wasn't up there with 3x14, which imo WAS the worst, или even 3x22.. I think we need some positivity around here.

Delena is headed in the right direction. SE is weaker and weaker with each ep. They are lying to each other, keeping secrets from each other.

Damon is the only one Elena can be herself around. Her so called friend Bonnie is completely judgmental, and Damon is the only one that will support Elena through any mistake she makes. We can see that from just this one ep., 4x04.

I finally made myself a Профиль on this site so I can interact with my fellow Delena shippers :) What did everyone think of 4x04? I absolutely loved the hug scene between Damon and Elena. Damons face when he was holding her, and the way his eyes shut made me tear up. The emotion and frustration that has come about with loving DE since season one, truly exploded after 4x4. Watched 4X04 with my girls last night and we actually liked the episode. Yeah, Bonnie ruined the moment, but honestly I think Elena's upset wasn't just about the blood, but about getting caught in her attraction to Damon. And as for Damon, he handled himself perfectly and didn't back down when attacked. I partlicularly loved the jab about ripper Stefan and it's soooooo true! All in all, a good episode. So I feel really used right now. The ratings for last nights episode were up because the producers and writers lied to us all and told us it was going to be THE Delena episode of the series so far. That was the only reason they did it and it worked. Little note to the writers though, Ты can only use and abuse a loyal fanbase (in this case Delena) for so long before they just get sick of being manipulated and refuse to play the game anymore. I don't know why there are people already disappointed in 406 because of the supposed DE dance. All there ever was сказал(-а) is that there would be a moment that would mirror the DE dance from 1x19. Now, some Фаны thought that "mirroring" means it would be the same aka another DE dance. But to mirror a scene doesn't mean that it's going to be the exact same, regarding characters. This is something I noticed. I was watching the SE woods scene..(yes don't kill me) LOL and noticed that Stefan threw an Стрела at her when she сказал(-а) she could not drink from anything else except from the vein. I just read a review of last night's episode, and it ALMOST made the episode make sense to me. The person Письмо the review made sure to point out the fact that none of the sweet words that Stefan says will EVER match the raw connection that now exists between Damon and Elena. That's how I'm choosing to look at the episode. It looked (and felt) like Delena took two steps back, but it was actually a step forward. Julie plec nd the producers ... Messed up TVd up for me with this episode ... I think because this episode made us realise that the situation is no different to season 1 and neither are the characters way of thinking ...the same shit is happening ,elena hurts Damon , everyone is bashing in Damon despite him always bettering the situation for elena ... Let me clear somethings up, specially to our dear SErs. The only reason why Elena is "hating herself" for doing the things she did was because she got caught.
