Actually I don't, due to the way my classes are scheduled this semester, so I always have Fridays off! Although technically, I have two online classes as well, so I sometimes still have work to do over the weekend, but it's not too bad.
High School rocks. Once your not a freshman that is. :) I'm a junior now and after my first full week I realize what I have to expect and I'm liking that I'm not overwhelmed.
Been in college for almost 5 years now, and I still have a ways to go before I can get the degree(s) I want. I really like college for the options, flexibility, scheduling, and of course the environment. It's generally a more professional, albeit sometimes less forgiving atmosphere overall, as the professors are usually very good at what they teach, but are generally less tolerant of late or sloppy work. If you plan on going to college in the future, the most important things to remember before you start a semester is: (1)Plan ahead/sign up early. (2)Look up and do research on the professors available. (3)Make smart scheduling decisions. (4)Be punctual/respectful/on-time. And, most of all, (5)Self control/self motivation. ;-)
Some alright jobs are available for those with High school diplomas or GED's, and some can even pay very well. However, a long-lasting career is going to be very tough nowadays without a decent 2 or 4 year college degree. It's sad but true, and many folks are actually going back to get their master's and PhD's just to stay competitive in this crazy tough job market we're stuck in at the moment. Looks like we're the generation that gets the short end of the stick...
Anyways, with that said, are any of you planning on going to college someday? And if so, what do you think you'll want to major in?
I'll be majoring in the health science field. That in tales medical and hospital type jobs. For instance I am studying to become a nurse. I'm excited about my future career.
Ah, very good indeed. It's great to see how you've already got plans in mind and have set things in motion ahead of time, and I hope it all works out great for ya!
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been on in a while! Been suffering through strange headaches but according to the doctor, nothing is wrong (Thank God, I was scared it was something serious!)
Anyways...I'm glad I don't have to worry about rabid squirrels now XD
